Axonometric Cylinder In Isometric Drawing And Ortographic Projection (Line Drawing And Hatching)

Let's draw a cylinder. The height is 7 centimeters and the radius is 3 again.
At the base. The base. No trouble. It's all about the base. All right. That's a nerd song.
You sing like that after drawing too much. Like I am right now. Yay, candy mountain.
Let's go draw the circle again to get the height going. It needs to intersect an
horizontal line that goes through the middle like this and this goes up and up and up and up.
Yeah.
One second. Oops. Let's thicken this again. Good. Let's go for the axo again.
What do we need for an axo? Ellipse. So we start with the square.
Again, drawing takes a bit to learn, but it becomes, you know, something that you use
all your life. So it's really worth it to invest in a skill that you'll be using all your life.
And that's going to be like a power skill, you know, something special that not everybody has.
Right. Let's go for the height and the cast shadow is going to be on the left hand side,
just because, uh, well, there's basically no room for a cast shadow.
Right. So how's the cast shadow? It's the top ellipse,
60 degrees and horizontal. So I need to construct the same ellipse one more time here.
Happy days. Come on. Let's twist again.
I don't know what I'm doing and I don't care.
Like, of course, I know what I'm doing. I always know what I'm doing. That's the point.
To always know what you are doing. Not to just guess. To always be prepared.
Right. Let's thicken lines now. These are the single vertical lines we have. So the heights
of our cylinder. Now we need to go freehand. This is horizontal as well. It goes like this.
Right. So how does a cylinder work? Well, again, just like a cone, it's got a third,
which is directly lit. Then it's got a white edge here. You can also add a small white edge here,
similar to a cone. But this is white, right? And this starts being gray.
And it gets darker and darker as the segments get closer to the edges.
We'll have ample opportunities to draw a lot of cylinders. So don't worry.
If you can't get the gradient working on the first try, don't forget about the cast shadow.
Need a piece of paper just to be sure that I don't smudge. I don't like smudging.
Right. So this is an idea of what this should look like. Right. Boom.
