Gila monster Climbs a Tree

During a trip to Boyce Thompson Arboretum with a group K-12 school teachers we were visited by a Gila monster during our lunch break. Climbing a tree is unusual for this animal, but also entering a group of people is rare. Usually these are animals that avoid humans.
