Tafaa the turtle who waited for Fajr.
This is Tafaa.
The turtle he loves swimming in his pond and collecting shiny little pebbles.
One evening his friend Mimic the monkey said,
Why wake up early? Just sleep. It's more fun.
But Tafaa smiled and said, But Fajr is a gift from Allah.
It makes my heart feel shiny like my pebbles.
That night Tafaa got ready for bed early.
Time to sleep early and I want to catch Fajr.
Before sunrise Tafaa wake up.
He waddle to the stream and begin his wudu.
Bismillah.
Then he prayed Fajr under the soft glowing sky.
Tafaa thinking, Fajr makes everything shine.
Just the Mimic peeked out from the tree's sleepy eyed Mimic.
Tafaa the sky is glowing.
The next morning Tafaa smiled and said,
It is always glowing when you thank Allah early.
And from that day on Mimic joined him every morning with a banana in hand.
Fajr is not just a prayer.
It is the start of a beautiful day.
