SUMMER WARDROBE STAPLES - Easy, Comfortable Summer Outfits Ideas

Hi everyone it's Nisha. So today I wanted to give you easy comfortable summer outfit ideas with like a summer staples. I will show you the items that are staples for me and then how I put them all together into different outfits. So this is not a clothing haul this is like shopping my wardrobe, shopping my closet, just to show you how I put outfits together with what I've got. So the first staple is for me a maxi dress. Maxi dress is a must, it's easy to wear, hides multitudes of sins. I buy most of my maxi dresses from Shein. They are very inexpensive, they can be hit and miss but I've been really lucky and most of mine are really nice. So I have this beautiful pink one and the same in blue. I also have a black one and then I have this pattern one. So this fabric, I don't know how to explain this, this is not very thin it's quite thick, I don't know if you can see it. I would compare it to like a thick textured linen. I don't know actually if they say that this is linen, I don't think this is linen but it feels like that sort of heavy textured raw linen. Now another staple is a linen shirt. I love my white but they come in so many beautiful colours. In fact I wish I bought, I know Zara did beautiful bright yellow, green and pink, I might invest in more of those. But I have short sleeve linen shirt, long sleeve that you turn up. I have also oversized linen shirts, they are again very versatile and everybody should have one in their wardrobe. And as we're talking about linen, linen shirt dress. Linen shirt dress is a must. You will see later how I style this one. Again they come in different lengths, different colours, they are everywhere. So it's really easy to get a linen shirt dress. The next thing is shorts. Denim shorts are a must and then any fabric, plain different colours, colourful shorts are a must for comfortable and easy summer outfit. The next staple for me are wide leg trousers. Doesn't matter what colour, just make sure that they are linen, like I've got these black ones that are linen. These ones are more silky, something that is obviously not too hot and is really swishy swishy and comfortable. Footwear. So because we are talking about easy and comfortable, we are not going to be doing heels. We might do tiny heels that still feel like flat shoes but they just add a bit of elegance. But they are still comfortable and easy to walk in. And then trainers, sneakers, tennis shoes, whatever you call it. I've got these two pairs. These are quite old, these ones are from Donna Curran and these ones are Steve Madden. And I'm talking about not leather ones because you know in a summer when it's hot, your feet can swell up, they can get a bit hot, sweaty and then you end up with blisters. So I'm talking about, you know, these sort of knitted, breathable trainers. These are amazing. These are like the most comfortable trainers in the world. I can wear them without socks, never get a blister because this is just like a sock, it's all stretchy. Steve Madden still sells them and they come in lots of different colours. One thing, go size up in those, in this style because they do lots of different trainers. But this is my favourite. I think these are called Match and I have to go size bigger. So size up in those. These are not available anymore but I know Donna Curran does very similar ones every year. Okay so let's start with the maxi dresses. So I filmed myself in that blue and pink maxi dress just so you could see. They are exactly the same but I think they are such a wonderful piece, so easy to wear. Like I said, it hides multitudes of sins. If you feel a bit bloated, if you've got lumps and bumps, no one is going to see it. Now this is another dress from Shein. This fabric is totally different. This is lovely. This is, it's probably polyester but it feels like a silk cotton. It has lining down to here so it's not see-through. It has that slit here on the leg and these really lovely shoulder straps. The only thing with this one is I feel like the straps are too close here together. They should be sort of here. So I might have that altered. I don't know. But again you can wear it like this and then it looks like a off-shoulder dress. I just have on Zara sandals. They do these sandals every year in different colour and I have my Tory Burch handbag. Love, love this outfit. This is so comfortable, so light and breezy. Perfect dress for the summer. Another great item for easy, comfortable summer outfit are denim shorts. Any denim shorts you have. Long, short, distressed, plain, whatever you have. So this is really easy, comfortable outfit. Just old pair of denim shorts, brown sandals, brown bag, bandeau top and this oversized linen shirt. So again this is something that you can get anywhere. You can get denim shorts anywhere. You don't have to wear bandeau top. It could be just a little camisole. Another denim shorts outfit. I'm wearing these trainers. These are Steve Madden. Another linen shirt. This one is different. This one is not that oversized. I've tucked in one side of it and I have my Michael Kors bag. So this is again another lovely, comfortable, you know, summer shopping outfit. This is another comfortable, lovely summery outfit. This time I'm wearing white shorts. Well they are slightly off-white from Zara. I think they still sell those. I have an orange bandeau top, short sleeve linen shirt over it, stretchy gold belt. These lovely orange shoes. Remember it's my latest purchase from H&M. They are very comfortable because the heel is so tiny. It feels like you are wearing flats. Again my Tory Burch bag and I tied this orange twilly onto it so it brings all the oranges together. So this is like one of my favourite outfits. I just love all the shorts outfits because I think you can do so much with different coloured shorts and tops. Another shorts outfit. These shorts are the most comfortable shorts in the world. I got them last year or two years ago from Boden. They didn't do this type this year but they do pattern shirts shorts. They do pattern shorts every year and the good thing about them is that they do them in three lengths. So this is four inch, they do six inch and they might do eight inch as well. So if this is too short for you, you can always go for the longer option and I'm just wearing simple Ipanema flip flops. Ipanema is not that easy to get but you know you can get the Havaianas. This is like the most comfortable and cool outfit. This cheese cloth fabric is amazing. I think I might have got it from the white company but you know these tops are around and the shorts lovely thin silky fabric very very comfortable and cool. Right this outfit wide leg trousers. They are very light, very cool. I've put them on with these what are they trainers and just a sort of halter neck vest top. I have a sort of matching belt and again I could wear my Tory Birch bag. I can also dress these trousers up. As you can see I put them on with linen one shoulder top, gold sandals, gold belt and little gold handbag. So now this is a bit more elegant and sporty. I could do exactly the same with wide leg black trousers. These are linen trousers so any colour really of wide leg trousers. So I have sandals on, the same top and then let me quickly show you the more sporty version. So again I am wearing these trainers, Donna Karan trainers and stripy tank top. Very easy, very breezy and comfortable. So another great staple is a linen shirt dress and they are everywhere. Long, short, different colours but this is such a versatile piece of clothing. So I have this one from Sosanda. So as you can see you can wear it just like this with some trainers. You could wear it as a over shirt over your swimming costume. This one comes in with self belt so I can belt it up. I wish it had pockets, I like pockets. So this is one way you can wear it. Then let's dress it up a bit. So this time I've put a little Ralph Lauren brown belt on, Jeffrey Campbell brown shoes again, tiny heels so very comfortable and a June bag. And I think this is really lovely outfit. It's so cool, so comfortable and a bit more elegant. And of course because it is white you can put different colour shoes, different handbags and it completely changes the outfit. I could for example put these pink shoes on and my little green bag. I've tied another twilly here that is green and pink so it sort of ties in with the pink shoes but I left the belt white. So that's another outfit. Well it's the same but changing the colour of shoes and bag changes it completely. Well I hope you enjoyed my outfits. Let me know which one was your favourite.
