Fall Autumn Capsule Wardrobe-How To Wear Neutrals
Happy fall y'all. I've got a new y'all mug. So you know one of my subscribers sent
me the y'all mug and I loved it but my husband kept putting it in a dishwasher
and all the writing started coming off. She did offer to send me another one but
my PO box is closed down now so I was looking everywhere here in the UK if I
can get a mug with y'all on it and I found this one on Etsy and it came from
Canada. So I really love it. So happy fall y'all. Very appropriate as today I'm going
to be showing you my fall autumn capsule wardrobe and it's all neutrals. You know
I absolutely love neutrals in a winter. I don't mind it in the summer but I tend
to wear more colour in the summer. Neutrals just look a bit more cheery
when it gets colder and also everything goes with everything. So any shade of
beige, cream, white, taupe, camel they all go together so you don't need many
things to mix and match all your clothes. Now my capsule wardrobe might be
different to yours. It all depends on your lifestyle. So I'm much more casual.
I don't work in an office. I have a couple of outfits that I could wear to a
restaurant or lunch but most of the time I like to be casual but I still like to
be smart casual. So have a quick look at my, you can see some of it behind, at my
neutral capsule wardrobe. There's quite a lot of things. I have a lot of tops,
jumpers, sweaters, vests and there are different shades and different style but
they go with everything. I can mix and match no problem. You will not see skirts
or dresses in this video. As you know I never wear skirts. I just don't think
they suit me. I am curvy. I feel very frumpy. Dresses, I wear them in a summer
maxi dresses but I've got actually one winter dress. I might show you one day but
yes you won't see that. I just feel the most comfortable in jeans, trousers and
joggers. So for the bottoms I have these items. These, these are my new purchase.
These are pleather cropped flared trousers from Zara. They do them in
beautiful cream as well and black. I've got the black as well but I didn't get
the cream. I still might. I don't know. They are so so comfortable. Then I have a
pair of cream jeans. These are proper cream but they are made of almost like a
stretchy, you know that type of velvet jean or moleskin jean. That's what they
are and again they are straight and cropped. Then I have a pair of cashmere
mix joggers. Then I have a pair of a bit more smart joggers. These are from Mango.
And also just a normal cotton pair of joggers. I also have some trousers that
are just a normal sort of tailored trousers, cropped. I have wide leg
trousers but I don't think I would be wearing them as much in a winter. So I
will show you the things that I will really wear. Of course you can see lots
of different type of knitwear. Now outerwear. For outerwear I have this
gorgeous Zara wool coat. I bought it last year or even before that but Zara does
these coats every single year. Then I have this really really thick, you could
call it coatigan because it's a cardigan but it's really really thick. You know
that sort of hairy fluffy type. I got that one from the Michelle
Keegan collection. I love it. It's like a blanket. It's soft, it's warm. Then of
course remember my trench coat because in autumn it's not as cold. I probably
wouldn't even wear the wool coat unless there was a really cold day. I probably
would wear more my trench coat. Then I've got this puffer gilet. Puffer gilets are
so in. Short, boxy, fitted, long and I absolutely love them especially for the
weather here in the UK. It's never that freezing especially down south so I can
just put nice chunky knitwear and just that without wearing a big puffer
jacket. And also a blazer. This one is from Marks and Spencers. Just a nice
camo blazer. You can get those in Zara. Zara does beautiful blazers. So that's
for the outerwear. Now when it comes to footwear I have, well let me show them to
you. So this is my new purchase. The rest are not new. These are gorgeous. These are
suede, sort of kitten heel, mid-calf boots. I bought them in Marks and Spencers. How
much were they? They were 85 pounds. They are so comfortable, beautiful. I love them
so much. I don't know if they still have them because when I went to order them
there was just my size left, five and I usually go six or five and a half in
boots especially when they're pointy like this but I just ordered the five and they
are snag but they are very comfortable so I'm so glad and obviously being
suede is gonna stretch as well. Gorgeous boots. Then I have this pair of knee-high
boots. They are sort of cowboy style. They are old. I bought them in Zalando. I don't
even know what brand it is but if you've been with me for a long time you would
have seen them before. Then I have these chunky boots and I am so glad that I
didn't get rid of them. They are old from River Island and when I bought them the
chunky sole, chunky heel boot was not that much in fashion but they are so
comfortable. I like them so I kept them and I'm so glad because as you know this
season all these really heavy chunky boots are in fashion but some of them I
feel like they are a bit too trendy for me and some of them make me look like
I've got a brick attached to my foot. So these are sort of in between. They have a
bit of a chunky sole and a chunky heel. Then I've got these leather loafers that
I bought recently in Spain so I can give you a link for those and two pair of
trainers. I have my old Nikes. They are lovely beige color and then I've got
the VEA ones. Let's do neutral bags and I have quite a few. So I have this
gorgeous one from Teddy Blake. These are such beautiful bags. If you want a bag
that is designer, made in Italy, the craftsmanship is amazing. They are up
there with your Gucci's, YSL's when it comes to craftsmanship but obviously
much less expensive. So I've got this one. I've got my old Gucci one. I've had
this one for ages. Then fairly recent my little casual Michael Kors and this is
quite old as well. This one is from June. June actually does really nice bags and
they are not that expensive. So have a look at June bags as well. So these are
like my capsule wardrobe staples when it comes to outerwear, shoes, bags and of
course all sorts of knitwear. So let's start now with the fashion show. Please
forgive the state of my hair. I look like I've been dragged through hedges
backwards because taking on and off these jumpers messed up my hair but this
is not a hair show. So let's start with the first outfit. So the first outfit is
with these trousers. These are so versatile as you will see. So the first
one is just with a white lily silk shirt and those Marks and Spencer's boots. I
also put with it the Ralph Lauren belt and the June bag. I love this outfit. This
is something that I would wear to a restaurant, going to lunch, meeting a
girlfriend. I think it's really really lovely. I suppose you could wear that to
the office because it's not like they are biker skinny leather trousers. They
are quite elegant. So then I changed the white shirt into this satin vest, sort of
cream satin vest. I got that from ASOS. It wasn't very expensive but it's really
really lovely cut vest. I would, if you want it very fitted then go with your
size. I went size up because I wanted it to be a bit more loose and also to
accommodate my boobs. So I've put that on with the Marks and Spencer's blazer
and kept the same shoes on and my Gucci bag. So maybe that would be a bit more
office appropriate because of the blazer. Then as you can see I can wear them also
with that long coat again. I can wear them with the Zara wool coat. So they are
very versatile. They look good with any outerwear really. And to make it maybe a
bit more casual I swapped the kitten heel boots for the more of a cowboy type
boots from Zalando and I added chunky knit. Let me show you the knit. Yes I
haven't shown you the knit. I've added this chunky knit. Love it. This is from H&M.
It's quite recent so but you know with H&M everything goes so quickly. I think
it's gorgeous. It's very soft, very warm. It has a slightly flat sleeves. I sized
down in that one. I went to small because it is still oversized even in small. So
depends how oversized you wanna adjust the size to that. The next few outfits
will be with the cream musk in jeans whatever they are. So I've put with those
this gorgeous turtleneck or is it turtleneck sort of mock turtleneck block
knitwear. This is from Reece. I absolutely love Reece. You will see I have quite a
lot of Reece stuff but I buy a lot of them on sale. I've told you before I go
on Brandali. Brandali often does Reece and I have quite a few pieces that I got
like more than 50% off. So I wore those jeans with this lovely sweater and the
chunky Hill River Island boots and Teddy Blake bag. So this is a nice outfit. It's
sort of not too smart and not too casual. It's just like in between smart
casual. In the next outfit I wore those jeans with the loafers and where are you?
This is a Reece knitted vest. It's really really lovely and again I got
that on sale from Brandali. It was less than half price because Reece is quite
expensive. So I wore that with the long cap coltigan and the loafers. The next
cream jean outfit I put together with this again Reece which I got on sale.
You've seen it before. College cricket jumper and then I put the
gilet on top of it and the Veja trainers. I have turned up the jeans a bit to give
it a bit more of a casual look. So I think this is really really lovely funky
outfit to go shopping or whatever. And I think did I wear? I think I wore the
Michael Kors bag with it. Now in the next outfit I wore these sort of smart jogging
trousers. I don't know what you would call them. They are so comfortable. They
have nice weight to them. I wore this chunky Reece vest again. Knitted vest
because sometimes you know it's not so cold if you are going I don't know maybe
to a pub or something. But you could always put like a shirt underneath, white
shirt or something. But I quite like that look with nothing underneath and the
chunky boots. And of course I can always if I was going out before I get to
wherever I'm going I can put the coat over it. Then I swapped that sleeveless
vest for the really really chunky beige sweater from Zara. This one is very very
chunky, quite stretchy and very very warm. So I wore that with the same joggers and
then I swapped the Veja trainers for my Nike trainers and then put gilet over it.
In the next few outfits I wore these again Reece Kashmir blend joggers. These
were on sale as well from Brandali. Again less than half price so I was so so
pleased with these. These are gorgeous and I wore them with the White Company
sort of silk cotton hoodie and my Veja trainers. And as you can see I can wear
it with the gilet, I can wear it with a trench coat and also and also you don't
need to have Kashmir joggers. As you can see I put this outfit together with the
cotton joggers from Zara which I think are under 20 pounds. So this was my
capsule wardrobe and these are the outfits that I will be wearing this fall.
Some of them I can carry on into winter just by wearing thicker maybe padded
jacket or my wool coat. I will leave you links to everything that is still
available or I will try to find you alternatives but shops are full. I mean if
you want knitwear go to H&M or Zara if you want something cheaper but I
sometimes like to spend a bit more money on the neutral wardrobe because these
things you know it's a it's a neutral color it's never gonna go out of fashion
so it will last me for years to come. I hope you enjoyed this video thank you so
much for watching and happy fall y'all stay fabulous bye
