How to crochet a small rug / Tutorial

Hi everyone, welcome to my channel. My name is Emu and today we're going to learn how to crochet these small rugs. So let's get started. To crochet this six inches rug we're gonna need this super fine for three millimeter crochet hook and we're gonna use the three millimeter crochet hook, scissors and a sewing needle. So let's get started. So let's get started chaining eight and we're gonna twist the yarn so we can get this small loop, introduce the hook into the loop and pull through the loop. Then we're gonna continue. Yarn over and pull through the loop, yarn over, pull through the loop, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight chains. What we're gonna do now is close this chain, introducing the crochet hook to the very first chain and doing slip stitch. Then we're gonna chain three extra, one, two, three, which is the measure of the double crochet. Then what we're gonna do is work 24 double crochets around this circle and what we're gonna do is yarn over, introduce the crochet hook into the circle, pull through the circle, close two and two. Again, yarn over, into the circle, pull through the circle, close two, close two. Again, yarn over, into the circle, pull through the circle, close two and two. We already have four double crochets if we count the very first three chains and we're gonna continue until we have 24 double crochet in the first row. Once we have 24 double crochets, counting these three chains as one double crochet as well, what we're gonna do is count one, two, three and into the third chain we're gonna slip one. So this is how we finish the very first row and what we're gonna do is continue with the second row, chaining six extra, one, two, three, four, five, six and then we're gonna skip one and into the second one we're gonna do double crochet and then we're gonna chain three, one, two, three, skip one and in the second one do double crochet again and again chain three, one, two, three, skip one and in the second we do double crochet. So this is how we're gonna continue the second row as well. Last double crochet, chain three and again we count one, two, three and in the third chain slip stitch and this is our second row. Then what we're gonna do is go to this space here and we're gonna slip one. Then we're gonna chain three extra, one, two, three and we're gonna work three more double crochet in the same space. So we're gonna work one, two, three and if you count these three chains, there are four total and now what we're gonna do is chain one and go to the next space and work four double crochet, two, three and four double crochet. Then again chain one and into the next space work four double crochet again, one, two, three, four and this is how we're gonna work three, four, chain one, one, two, three and in the third chain we slip one. And let's continue with the fourth row. So what we're gonna do is go back to this space here and we're gonna do single crochet. So we're gonna introduce to this space, yarn over, pull through the space and close these two chains together. Then what we're gonna do is chain five, one, two, three, four, five and we go to the next space and we do two single crochet. So we're gonna do one and two single crochet. Then again chain five, one, two, three, four, five. Again one single crochet and two single crochet. Again one, two, three, four, five and two single crochet into the next space. So this order we're gonna keep until the end of the fourth row. Well we are about to over the row number four and what we're gonna do here is chain three, one, two, three and into the last space we're gonna work one double crochet. Yarn over, introduce into the space, pull through the space, close two, close two and this will be our last loop of five chains. So what we're gonna do now is chain again three, one, two, three, which is a measure of a double crochet and now what we're gonna do is work three double crochet together. So we already have one, yarn over, introduce into the loop, pull out and close only two. Again, yarn over, into the same loop, pull out and close only two. We already have three stitches and we close all of them together. Then we're gonna chain three, one, two, three and we're gonna do the same into the next space. So we're gonna take yarn over, go to the space, pull out and close only two. Then again, yarn over, into the same space, pull out and close only two. Then again, yarn over, into the next, into the same space, pull out and close only two. So we already have three stitches plus the chain, the previous chain. We got four stitches on the hook and we close all of them together. Then again, chain three, one, two, three. Into the same space, we're gonna work again three double crochet together. So we're gonna take yarn over, pull out, close two, yarn over, pull out, close two, yarn over, pull out, close two. Three double crochet plus the chain, the previous chain, four stitches on the hook and we close all of them together. So this is what you're gonna do all the way around and in each loop we're gonna work two groups of three double crochets and for the next one we're gonna chain three again, one, two, three. Go to the next space and we take one, two, three double crochet together, chain three and again into the same space, one, two, three double crochet together. So this is what you're gonna do all the way around. So let's continue with it. If you remember we start the row with three double crochet together into the very first loop. So in the same loop we finish with three double crochet and chain one and into the top of this three double crochet what you're gonna do is one half double crochet. So we're gonna take yarn over, go to the top of the three double crochet together, pull out and close all these three stitches together. Now what you're gonna do is chain five, one, two, three, four, five. Go to the next space and do single crochet. Then again, one, two, three, four, five and go to the next space and do one single crochet. So this is what you're gonna do all the way around. Chain five and one single crochet to the next space all the way around. Well this is row number six and we're gonna finish with one, two, three, four, five. One single crochet and then what you're gonna do is one, two, three and one double crochet into the very first space here. And what you're gonna do now is continue with the last row, row number seven. So what you're gonna do is to the next space we're gonna work five double crochets. One, two, three, four, five double crochet in the same space. Then we're gonna chain four. One, two, three, four and we go back to the top of the last two double crochet and we're gonna do one slip stitch. Then what you're gonna do is work five more double crochets in the same space. One, two, three, four, five. Double crochet in the same space. Then we're gonna do one single crochet to the next space, chain five. One, two, three, four, five. Go to the next space, one single crochet. Again, chain five. One, two, three, four, five and another single crochet into the next space. Again, go to the next space and start with five double crochets. One, two, three, four, five. Chain four. One, two, three, four, five. Go to the top of the two last double crochet and do slip stitch. Again, one, two, three, four, five double crochet in the same space. Again, we go to the next space, do one single crochet, chain five. One, two, three, four, five. One single crochet in the next space. Again, one, two, three, four, five. Go to the next space and again we start with the next five double crochet in the same space with chain four and another five double crochet in the same space. So this is how we're gonna continue until the end of the last row, number seven. Well, if everything is going okay, we should have five tips and what you're gonna do is finish with the last one. So what you're gonna do here is do one single crochet after the last tip, then we're gonna chain five. One, two, three, four, five. One single crochet to the very last space and now we're gonna chain six. One, two, three, four, five, six. Then we're gonna cut the yarn and pull the chain till the yarn go out of the last chain. Then with the sewing needle we're gonna hide the tail. So we're gonna first go to the very first tip, the very first double crochet of the first tip. So we're gonna introduce to the very first chain here, then we're going back to the last chain. We're gonna cut this tail and this tail. And this is how it looks like. And this is how it looks like with six inches measure.
