HOMEGOODS SHOP WITH ME | HOME DECOR HAUL | COLLABORATION

I am doing a collaboration with two incredibly talented creators here on YouTube. You guys probably know who they are. We have a really fun home goods challenge. All right, you guys, I'm going to kind of run it down really quickly for you on what this collaboration is going to entail. So we came up with this idea of doing a home goods challenge where we are each going to go into home goods and attempt to find a home decor item for each person based on their particular style. Now, I've been watching the girls for quite a while, and I feel like I have a pretty good idea of items that I could pick out for the girls. But we are each going to go in, pick an item out. We have a budget set aside. And then we are going to bring those items back to our home, do a kind of blind reveal, and then show you guys how we styled their particular item in our home. So I'm super excited, and I'm excited to meet them. I have not met them. We've obviously have communicated via Instagram. We've done a few Zoom calls, but I'm super excited to meet these girls in person and actually do a collaboration where we physically are together. So let's get to it. All right, you guys, are you ready to see what two beautiful girls I have for this fun collaboration? I have Miss Brenda Michelle. What's up, guys? And I have Miss Jessica J. Hi. So we're about to go into home goods, and we're about to do this home goods challenge. So let's get to it. Let's go. Peace. Okay, so we've all have separated, and we are on the hunt for each other's items. So I... Oh, there's Brenda. But yeah, the point is we're trying to find items that represent the person, but we also don't want them to know what we buy. So we're all shopping for each other. So I hope I can find something for the girls. Look at this. That's cool. Harder than I actually anticipated it was going to be. It wasn't that I couldn't find stuff, but I'm also working with the inventory that home goods had. So trying to find something that I think they would like that matches their style with very limited inventory. I was kind of disappointed in this home goods. I would have thought for a Saturday. We came super early this morning that we would be a little bit more on the looking out, but hopefully they like what I got them and that they'll be able to style it at their house. So now it's time to give them their item. All right. What's your consensus? What do you guys think? It was hard. It was hard, right? It was definitely a challenge. I was surprised I didn't run to you guys more though. I think like a little bit. We were all pretty spread out. For it to be a smaller store. I got some footage of you like in the wild. In home goods. What'd you say, Jessica J? We were trying to avoid each other like every five minutes. I'm like, where are they? I was looking like, hey, anybody around? Yeah, same here. Same here. But it was a challenge. You guys enjoyed it? It was fun. Okay. It was fun. So stay tuned. They are seriously the most genuine and amazing people. I'm so blessed that I was able to meet them and do this collaboration with them. But by the time I had gotten home, I was just so tired that I ended up waiting for today to do my kind of unboxing for you guys. So I'm going to unveil these items with you guys and let's see how I can style their picks into my home. And as a side note, I did get into a little bit of a fight with myself, Tanner, last night. So please disregard the hands, all right? Let's start with Miss Brenda's pick. So this was Brenda's pick. Obviously, you guys will see why I couldn't, like, I kind of knew what it was. It's this beautiful lamp by Max Studio, and that is what it looks like. This was, again, Miss Brenda's pick. And when you kind of zoom up onto the material, it definitely resembles a Stingray material. I don't know if you guys are, like, familiar with Stingray, but Stingray material has that like little bubbles and beads like texture. And I know exactly why she chose this item for me. This definitely is a RH dupe. RH has a line called Shagree. It very much resembles Stingray-like material, and they make it in sideboards, they make it in cabinetry, in beds. It's a very popular line that Restoration Hardware actually puts out for people to buy. That is probably why Miss Brenda gravitated towards this item because it definitely gives RH vibes. So this was Miss Brenda's pick. Again, this was by the company Max Studio, and it was priced at $49.99. She had to go over our budget just a hair, but this was Miss Brenda's pick. Now let's see what Miss Jessica J picked out for me. I have yet to see what she got for me. Okay, Miss Jessica J. She does, she knows me pretty well. So Miss Jessica got me a handcrafted marble mortar. If you guys know me, you know I love my marbles. She definitely nailed this one on the head. I love marble. I actually don't own a mortar, so this will be perfect for my kitchen. So that is the first item, and this is by the company ... Okay, so no company, but it was priced at $9.99. So that was the first item Miss Jessica J picked out for me. Oh, Jess. Yes, you guys. Jessica, I love it. Okay, so can you guys see that? It is white marble and a black stone of some sort, but how rad is that? And it is a cheese board, so this will be awesome for layering on my kitchen island. You guys know I love layering this type of stuff on my kitchen island. This was priced at $12.99. Jess, nailed it, girlfriend. Totally my color scheme, black and white. You know me, and I love my marbles. So that was the second pick from Miss Jessica. Oh my God, I'm obsessed. God, this is so fun. Okay, she got me one more item. So again, our budget was $40 for each pick, so let's see what the last item was. Oh, okay. She got me a martini shaker. So this is by the company Collection de Accessories de Bar, and this one was priced at $9.99. So I actually really love that. I think that's really pretty. I do already own a martini shaker, but honestly, this is really pretty with the crystal and the embossing in the glass. It just adds a little bit of character and dimension. So yeah, you guys, that is the three picks from Miss Jessica, then the lamp from Miss Brenda. But how fun is that? So now that you guys know exactly what the picks were that the girls chose for me, now I'm going to style them in my house, and let's see how I do. Okay? All right, so here are the first items I styled of Jessica's. So this is the cheese board that she got for me, and then I also put that little mortar right here on my little concrete drop tray for all of my utensils. But I absolutely love this tray. Jessica, you did such a fantastic job of nailing it on the head. I love layering cutting boards, and this is just totally my vibe. So that is the first item. And then coming over here, you guys can already tell I love my marble. So I have a little marble mortar that she got me, housed with my olive oil and vinegar, my pepper, and all of my wooden utensils. So those are the first two items. So here is the third item from Jessica's picks. There's that little martini shaker there in the back. I just house it here on my little bar station with all of my bar utensils. And I just love how it kind of gives it some contrast. It actually matches the little glasses here that my husband has, but that is her third pick for me. And here is Miss Brenda's pick. This lamp actually plays off so well with the other items here on my sideboard. All right, you guys. So that is it. I hope you guys enjoyed. This was such a fun collaboration. I'm so happy that the girls were on board to do this. And it was a lot of fun. It was definitely a challenge. Again, the hardest part of this challenge was working with HomeGoods Inventory. You guys know HomeGoods can be definitely a hit or miss. And I definitely feel like in our situation, it was definitely a challenge. It was definitely a miss as far as inventory goes, but it was still so much fun. I love the picks that the girls picked for me. And I hope you guys enjoy.
