One of the top predators in our sea is the Great White Shark.
Measuring almost 6 meters in length and weighing over a ton, it's the perfect predator.
Great White Sharks are found in coastal waters in every major ocean,
but the Great White Shark is most commonly sighted around Australia, South Africa,
California and Mexico. The Great White Shark is found in waters from just 1 meter deep to
1,200 meters deep. This shark has approximately 300 teeth which are arranged in a number of
rows along the top and bottom jaws. This photo was sent to me by nuhasif11 who asked,
this shark is so big is it real or fake? Firstly, just by looking at the photo the shark is very
similar to a Great White, but never do they reach these sizes. The people behind the shark are
dwarfed by the creature. According to the Guinness Book of Records, the two largest
Great White Sharks ever found were 36 and 37 feet long. The 36 foot long shark was captured
off Port Ferry in South Australia in the 1870s, while the 37 foot shark was caught in New Brunswick,
Canada in the 1930s. However, since those sizes are so abnormal for Great Whites,
experts have cast doubt on the reliability of those measurements, or if they were even Great
Whites at all. But a more reliable size comes from Cuba in 1945. This specimen was 6.4 meters
long and had a body mass of around 3,300 kilograms. The length has been verified by shark experts.
A Great White that could back up these measurements is Deep Blue.
Deep Blue is widely considered the world's largest Great White Shark.
A 7 meter long beast that dwarfed cage divers in these amazing photos.
According to one of the divers, Deep Blue is a 50 year old female.
He says that Deep Blue is proof that shark conservation efforts are working.
Sharks rarely get to that age thanks to human overfishing and poaching.
In the photos, the shark is shown gliding along a cage, showing her massive girth, which is
estimated to be as wide as a hippo. Deep Blue played a role in the Discovery Channel's 2014
Shark Week, when she was tagged by experts. But is this photo real or fake? I stumbled across a
website that may have the answer. It says that the South African Navy captured images of a Megalodon
during naval exercises, and then somehow captured the animal. The image speaks for itself. However,
it's not known what happened to the creature. This is the only source I could find, and although
I'm sure it's a fake, I can't say for sure. But what do you guys think? Does this photo show a
giant Great White Shark or perhaps even a Megalodon? Let me know in the comments. I would like to thank
NewHassif11 for sending me the photo, and if anyone has any photos they'd like me to review,
send them through to the email address in the description box. Thanks for watching,
