July 2021 || English Garden Tour 🌸🌺

It’s time for the July 2021 English Garden Tour and I am very pleased to invite you for a look around!

I garden in Essex, on the South East coast of England, 30 miles East of the City of London in one direction, and 30 miles from the coast in the other. I’m about 8 miles from the M25 which circles London, and I garden in the equivalent of a US Zone 8. It doesn’t get that cold in the winter (although we did have snow this February), nor does it get overly hot in the summer (although we were in the 80s last summer). So this year? Well, who knows? 😊😊

I’ve been in this bungalow for almost 16 years now and as you’ve probably guessed, my hobby, passion and favourite thing to do is gardening. And it’s also where I spend most of my money, because … well, gardening is not a cheap hobby 🤣🤣

I’ve changed the garden a lot so far this year, we’ve added a Victorian Wall Tall Greenhouse and a beautiful unique potting bench, plus I took up lots of the lawn, made it into a big circular bed, and last month we ripped up all the grass and laid an artificial lawn, which Richard and I both agree was one of the best things we did!
