NEW YEARS RESOLUTION 2022

But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3.8 In this chapter, Peter is talking about the return of Jesus. We can clearly see that God's timing is not our timing. Time is so, so important. Time can be stolen, and as adults, employers pay you for your time. Time spent with others can be made into precious memories. But yet, Americans rush time, like they can get it back. Here's the secret. They can't. Time can never be gotten back. Once time is gone, it is gone forever. And so are the memories with it. I have never had a New Year's resolution. Have you? Here I am, 27 years old, making my very first New Year's resolution. Y'all ready for it? I am going to slow down and live to my fullest. In a busy world that rushes here and there, I am going to be different. I am going to slow down at work and do it right the first time. I am going to slow down as a homemaker and enjoy my duties. I am going to slow down with my family and make new memories. Some people will definitely not understand, but this is my goal I have chosen for 2022 to reduce anxiety and stress. This is my aim, and this lifestyle fits my personality. John 1427 says, Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you, not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. 2022 is going to be different in my content. I'm going to focus more on homemaking and living slow in that farm lifestyle way.
