Hey y'all, my name's Holly and this is my best friend Hannah and Caitlin. We grew up with them.
Caitlin is my sister's age and they were best friends and then Hannah is a year younger than me.
She's Drew's age. They went to school together from K through 12. Hannah is actually Drew's
first kiss. So they were lovers back in the day. It was just to spin the bottle party.
Hannah's just taking some pictures of us today. She does an amazing job. She just started actually
she does really good. So we're gonna get these pictures done and then we're gonna go to the home
I'm trying to get the Christmas tree in it. You just made yourself dirty.
Uh get him holding it and then I want you to hold that one.
I wish you would have got that. Yes, that's a lot better.
Let me save some of them.
You got the chair, the this and the tree? I don't know about that. Yeah.
That's adorable. I do like that.
I don't know.
I'm gonna set that right there where it was.
Grab his face and kiss him.
Uncross your legs.
I can't with that.
Put your arms around it.
Throw your head back like you're laughing.
Everybody's gonna look at these pictures like you're an idiot.
Get it. Yeah!
Can you see them?
That's adorable.
Yes, look at that.
Kiss me on my cheek.
No, kiss me on my cheek.
You're skinny, you get to kiss me on my cheek.
We've known
Hannah and Caitlin
since they were babies.
Drew's actually so close to them that he feels like
they're sisters to him now.
Hannah's actually the one
that got Drew and I together.
She told me that he had a big crush on me
and we've been together ever since.
Caitlin named the blue truck
that's her dad's or their dad's
Honk Honk and we love
that name. That truck is so
cute. I'm so excited about seeing the pictures
that Hannah took of us today.
Okay, y'all. It's cold out here so I'm gonna
go in and put on something comfy and get
something warm to drink and then we will start the home
tour. Hey, y'all. I'm in my comfy
clothes now and I'm waiting on my hot chocolate to heat up.
So while I'm waiting, I have something fun to
share with you guys. My nephew Eli
and my niece Alyssa have an elf
on the shelf and his name is Elfie.
Elfie wrote a letter to them saying that
he wanted to be in my Christmas home tour.
Elfie is hiding somewhere in my house
so if you find him, just comment
down below. My hot cocoa
is ready and one of my cute mugs that
one of my subscribers gave me. Thank you
so much, Miss Donna. I love this Deck the
Halls Y'all mug by Paula Deen.
Christmas is my
favorite time to decorate. I love going
all out in every room of our home.
We start in November decorating because
let's face it, one month isn't near long
enough for us to have all the warm red colors
and glistening lights up in our home.
This season just gives my heart
all the warm, loving feels.
There's something about all the sparkling lights up
everywhere, all the friendly smiles on
all the holiday shoppers' faces, singing
Christmas carols every car ride
and those same old Christmas movies that we've
watched countless times that I just can't get
enough of. People have said
all the hustle and bustle of Christmas seems
like too much work and stress, but I
say with a big smile on my face, there's
nothing more exciting than getting ready to celebrate.
I mean, this isn't just your
normal birthday party. We are all
getting ready to celebrate our Lord and Savior.
You see, it's not all the
holiday shenanigans that gives me the joyful
heart this season. It's the love I
have for God and what he has done for me.
How he has blessed me and how he loves me
that makes this season so special.
He sent his only son to be
born on this earth to live a perfect life
so that he would die on a cross to wash away
my sins and save me. And not
only me, but you too.
This fills my heart up with so much love that I
can actually feel it running over me.
This is why I go all out in getting started
early. That's my Christmas magic
and no one can ever take that away from me.
I hope y'all have enjoyed
seeing all the wonderful friends and family's homes
I have shared this season as much as I have.
I've been so blessed this year to work a
dream job with decorating and filming homes
for y'all to enjoy.
They all have worked very hard in getting prepared
for that same birthday celebration.
Okay, I've poured out my heart
enough. Let's get started on this home tour.
And in the famous words of Eli,
let's do it!
Okay, we're gonna start in the foyer like
we always do.
I have my really cute typewriter that I
borrowed from my friend Mr. Greg.
And I have
this that I got
at the Target dollar spot
that I put in there.
I was gonna type something up, but I decided that looked pretty cute in there.
I'm not gonna tell you
where I got everything this time
because most of everything I told you
in my last home tour.
So if you haven't seen it yet, check out my one from last year.
Okay,
you guys heard
I did not put the fake snow
on these foyer windows.
That was a hassle to get off.
And I think that it looks just as pretty without it.
But I did put this garland that I got
from a yard sale for $5
up. And these cute
red balls hanging from
the garland. I just tied them on there.
And on the other side
of the table,
I again have my door.
And I have this cute
Santa Claus that I purchased at a yard
sale.
This year
is still a lot. It is still a lot.
I admit that.
But it is a lot less than what I had
in here for Christmas last year.
Moving on into my
dining room.
I have our table set.
Okay, I'm gonna tell you the honest
truth. Woo! That is getting
a little fierce. There we
go.
I don't have my table set like this
throughout the whole month of December.
Because we eat here some and it's just a hassle to pick it all up.
So what I did is I had a cake stand
sitting right there. And I had all my plates
and napkins stacked up inside
of it. And then these weren't out.
Oh, actually these were. These were sitting on top of the
plates. Anyway, but I had to
pull these out because I got those from the thrift store and I love
them. I love setting my table.
I just can't have it up
like I said the whole month of December.
These are actually just pages
out of a song book.
A Christmas song book. And my grandma
actually made those for me.
And why I say made is because she tea stained
these to give them a more vintage look.
And I had them.
I've had them for a few Christmases
but I forgot about them last year. They're hiding away
in my craft box and
I forgot to look in there.
And coming over to my buffet
I have the gingerbread house that Drew and I built.
Our snowman has kind of
melted as you would say.
From Dollar Tree. Oh, it tastes good too.
I think it's called snow cone flavor
or something. I don't know. But it tastes really good from Dollar Tree.
But we made him out of that and
he's just kind of melted away.
So I have all this over
here and I love displaying our gingerbread
house. I will have him up
until the end of January probably.
And then here's some of those
candy canes that I have made
just from pipe cleaners.
And if you have any old coffee
mugs like this, I filled these up
with some coffee beans and it smells
so good. I don't even have a candle over here
but it just smells amazing over here.
So there's a little hint.
A little trick.
And up here I just have my called fruit pizzas again
with my carrier and Ives
winter theme.
And I just put some garland
up there.
Our corner pace. Whoa, that was
country. Our corner pace.
Our corner piece is
it stays right here all the time.
And I really didn't put anything in here
Christmassy. But I did add some
holly that Drew cut me from
outside. And then
over here we have
Darla and her cute
apron that my mom found her at
Kirkland's. She came with some hand towels
too. And then I have this
chalkboard tray that I just threw
some winter trees on. I'm not a
very good drawer but I just doodled some on there.
I love
dressing my Darla up for each season.
And coming into my
kitchen
I have this tray set up with
this really cute tree. Oh my gosh
it's crooked. What happened?
Are we fixing it? Are we fixing it?
No. Okay. You'll just have to
see. It's crooked. I'll straighten it up later.
I have this really cute tree here with
some of my gingerbread men
lights and some cookie cutters that I hung.
And then I have
these. I got these at Petals from the Past and they
smell so good. They're little coasters.
Oh, let's see. And you
set your warm mug on them
and it's like potpourri inside of them.
They smell so good and they're really
cute gift ideas. Oh, go check out
Petals from the Past. I work there part
time and they have
a lot of cute stuff there. I
love Petals from the Past. Lots of cute home
decorating ideas. It's a plant
nursery but the inside
loaded down with Christmas stuff during the season.
And then as we
spin around I put a
wreath up there and then I found these
what does it say? I can't read it to the camera.
This house believes milk and cookies served
here. I found that at the Target Dollar Spot
this year. And I thought it was cute inside
the wreath. And then
right here I have
this little cutting board
with a red enamel bowl and
gingerbread cookies I got from
Dollar General. And I
just filled them up. I always buy those every year
to put in something clear because they're so cute and
they taste good. And then I have this
I love fake food. I have this I got
from the thrift store. It is a
I don't know what kind of cake it is. Maybe
like a pound cake or something. But it's super cute
sitting there. And then I got this candle this year
at Dollar General and it smells really
good. I just forgot to light it.
I mean honestly I can't light all the candles
that I have. I have too many
in the house. I have to pick which
scent I want to light. And then this
little guy I got him this year at
Bath & Body Works. And I think
Caramel Latte is in him.
And it smells amazing.
But look it lights up.
My dad loved this.
Gonna pan over this way.
My farmhouse
sign and my garland up there.
And then I put that cookbook up here because
it was red and kind of gave me that Christmasy feel.
And then I have this cute tree.
This is not a vintage one. I got
this from a local drug
store for like $20 a couple years
ago. And I really like it. And then
I just got some holly. Okay.
I have holly all throughout my house.
I'm sorry not holly.
I have this mistletoe.
I have mistletoe and holly all
out through the house. The holly
was a lot easier for my husband Drew
to go cut down for me.
Now the mistletoe not so much. He said he had to
climb up in a tree and cut it down.
I wish I could have videotaped him. The things
that that boy will do for me.
I have my cute little cow with the wreath
around her neck.
And then over here is my
coffee bar.
I love these things. They taste
so yummy. I love putting them in hot
chocolate. And then
these are cute little mugs.
There we go. There's some holly
that I just tucked in some places.
And then
this actually came from Miss Brenda.
I did her home tour last year. Go watch
hers. Hers is so beautiful. I love
her Christmas home tour. But she
had an extra one and I was looking for one so she
gave me that. It was so nice of her.
I love my little
coffee bar area. Oh look and
carry your knives again. The winter
themed coffee
mug. I got a new piece
for behind my couch.
I love having this.
It displays my Christmas village.
And right here I have an old bible
that I found at a thrift store.
And I doodled around
the Christmas story.
I also love these little bells
that I found at the thrift store.
And then I got
this jar of matches from
Target. And I love those.
Oh because all you got to do.
I made one like this one year because my mom told me
about it. And all you got to
do is strike it. Right there on the
bottle. Very convenient.
We'll go down here
to the
inside of my cabinet so you can get
a better look of my
Christmas village.
This little Santa right here in the gazebo
reminds me of my childhood.
We would always go with Brittany
my friend, her husband
Zach and his brother Eddie
and my sister. Our parents would take us
to go see Santa Claus
at
Fantasyland here in Alabama.
And Santa would be under the gazebo
and we would tell him what we wanted.
And we were all convinced that he
was the real Santa. Oh my
little tree fell over.
I got this little TV
from Walmart. I've actually seen them
at Hobby Lobby too this year.
And I just love this.
And this
guy is from one of my subscribers
Miss Donna as well.
She has stocked me
up with a bunch of the cutest things.
And I love
this tractor. Everybody has had a
fit over my tractor
and my Santa Claus.
To my other
cabinet. One of my
old bosses gave me this
birdhouse and I love it. Brittany
my friend, my cousin. I don't know which
one to call her. I call her my friend because
she's my friend but she's my cousin too.
But she made this sign. You serious Clark?
That is one of Drew's favorite Christmas movies.
That and the Grinch.
And then I have this antique
village that my friend Kristen
found for me at a thrift store.
And then I have my cute little
barn scene. Okay this is
a funny story. My nephew
Eli, he has a toy barn.
It's like that Fisher Price toy barn.
Anyway he don't get to play with this one. But he brings
that one out and he wants to get all these animals. Well I started
out with the pig, the donkey
and the cow.
Well Eli requested
while he was playing with it one day,
Aunt Holly, I need a horse
and a sheep and a chicken.
So I got that boy
what he wanted. So he has
to come back to my house to play now.
He'll be excited. Into our living
room. Last year I had
this piece displaying my
Christmas village.
It's my bookshelf now.
I have a lot of good Christmas
decorating books,
cookbooks at the thrift store.
I love looking at those.
And a basketball
blanket. This is a look
into my foyer from our living room.
We love this
big glass dividing wall.
Over in this corner I have this
chair with some of these
snowballs that we love to play
with. They had these at the Target
Dollar Spot this year.
And then of course my
cute phone that I love that's just like my
Maumau's. My Maumau Ferris,
the one that had all those babies.
Now there's a ton of us
because she had seven kids.
We love it.
Here's all my Christmas cards this year. I copied
Miss Brenda on this.
Here's a lot of my cousins.
This is the one that
everyone used to call us twins, Adrienne.
I think she's actually wearing
one of my dresses in that. And I've been looking
for that dress. I forgot that I sold it to her.
I love that dress. And
they're babies.
Let's see if we got anybody else in here.
There's my other cousin,
Kristen.
And I used to babysit Jacob
throughout high school. I babysat him
and his sister Hannah. And now
they have a baby. And
here's Emily. Y'all saw her at Cracker
Barrel with Cody
and her husband.
And then here is Kristen.
Her sister and her family.
They have three sisters
and a brother. And here's Kayla
and her husband Austin.
They just got married this year. I was actually
the wedding director at that wedding.
And I keep
adding to them.
I have these little glass Christmas
trees that I filled with peppermint
that I got from the thrift store.
Drewboo's been eating a lot of those.
Y'all probably hear me call
Drewboo a whole lot.
Especially if you follow me on Instagram and Facebook.
I really don't know how that started. Addison and I,
his sister, just started calling him
Drewboo a few years ago and it has
stuck. Everybody calls Drew
Drewboo.
I don't know if he loves it or hates it, but it
has stuck. I pretty much have
the same ornaments on our tree every year.
I just buy new ones
every year to add
to it. These are those
Ray Dunn ones
that my mom had made.
And then I bought
me one of these this year at Cracker Barrel.
One of these.
It's so pretty.
I gave my mom and sister
one.
And the only
thing else new is this.
These little mittens, I got them from the Target
Dollar Spot also.
And at the fireplace we have
all the
stuff that I need to make a fire.
I did that. I did pretty good, didn't I?
I have pine
cones, some newspapers rolled up,
this little thing that I got from the thrift
store. I have our shovel to get
all the ashes out to go in that bucket.
And then of course our firewood.
So it is decorated and I
think it's cute, but it's very practical.
My mom
made these stockings for me.
I've had these for a few years.
And then this picture right here,
I love it. This is
actually just...
It is just right through there.
The picture was taken on our fence
line. And look,
this was last year's snow that we had here
that we had a lot of fun playing in.
Look at the little snowballs that it collected
on top of it. I printed that off
at Walmart. I love
that picture. And of course I
dressed Jerry's little corner up.
I got this
little barn at Cracker Barrel. My mother-in-law
surprised me with it last year and it lights
up. It's so cute. And then
I have my cute little truck that everybody
loves. And we're going to
turn into my bedroom.
And this is like a little four-year entrance
into my bedroom. And I love it.
I love the Santa Claus.
I got him from a yard sale
for like a buck. And he is super
cute. Who would sell him? I don't know.
And then I have
Believe in the Magic
of Christmas going
into our bedroom. I love our bedroom.
I think my bedroom is my favorite.
And it might have to do with
what Drew built me.
That headboard. Drew's built
a whole lot for me. He built these. I didn't have
these last year on my Christmas home tour.
Love those.
Oh wait. I'm sorry.
I lied. He did not build those.
I bought them at a thrift store.
Repainted them. He put the top on it. But
he did put the new hardware.
So he did a lot of work to it.
He hasn't done anything with drawers yet. He hasn't built
anything like that. I don't think
that he wants me to add that to his list of things
to do either.
Have some garland up on top. And then I
was having the hardest time trying to decide between
this all is calm, all is bright
and this piece.
The church. So
Drew said I could keep both.
So I hung one there and then
I hung this one over here.
And I love them. I asked
everybody if it was too much Christmas on a poll
on Instagram. Most everybody
voted no. You cannot have enough
Christmas. And I agree.
And I love this radio.
I got it at our local
antique store called Rustic Relics.
Let's see. Let's see if it has any
Christmas music to it.
Love that.
And I just added. This is
actually fake greenery.
And this is real. That was
a trick that I learned from Miss Brenda.
Like I said, there's some more holly that Drew went
and cut for us. Love this
display in my
blankets. It definitely looks cozy in the winter.
Got these Christmas carolers
at a thrift store. Okay, I'll tell you something
funny. I asked Drew to bring me my
Christmas decorations. This was new last
year. It was wrapped up in a bag and he
dropped it and broke her head off.
I tried to glue her head back down
but it even scuffed up her nose
and broke his little hand but
I was not going to throw it away. You can't really tell.
You can when I got up on it
with the camera but loved it too
much. And my beautiful
chair. Oh.
Look at my fuzzy slippers.
I'm a slipper and a robe
freak. You'll see that in a minute.
This right here
is actually just a tea towel
also that I threw over that.
That's been really easy and then it'll be easy
for me to store
after Christmas. I won't have to pack away so many
pillows. And here's a sign that my friend
Brittany made me.
And then this piece right here is new.
This fireplace. One of Drew's
co-workers were selling it.
They're getting a new bedroom suit for their house.
So we got it for a really
good deal and I love it.
It was brown like a red cherry
brown and I painted it.
And then it actually puts off heat.
Let me show you this because this is really cool.
It's got the power,
the flame, high, low,
auto, and then the setting.
And then it also comes with a remote
that stays in here.
We put it up there
on Drew's nightstand at night.
Actually it stays up there but I hid it for the home tour.
I picked up a lot of things for the
home tour.
Anyway,
it's real easy at night when we get too hot. He just
cuts it off with the remote.
And it's so beautiful and
it heats up our room.
These are also things that Miss Althea
got me from Cracker Barrel
last year.
I just put marshmallows in them.
Oh and I forgot to tell you
guys I think that I got this picture
and the all is calm, all is bright, the twinkling lights.
They're so beautiful. I got them at Kirkland's
this year. And I loved
that church so much.
I love how the blue matches my chair
that's in my bedroom.
It is beautiful.
And then also I keep
my bibles right here and
this one matched up here so I just kept it
out. Usually I put it in my nightstand.
But my friend Hannah and
Kaitlyn, they gave me that whenever my dad
was real sick and getting his kidney
out. Oh let me show you
this over here too. This
is one of those essential oil diffusers
and I got Christmas
Spirit in it and it smells really good.
It's the Young
Living Collection. Oh look a berry.
Fell off of that.
I got a bunch of these from like yard sales or Walmart.
This one is really
pretty with the blackberries and redberries and I got
that from Petals from the Past.
Let me brag on Drew
again because he likes it when I
brag on him. So if y'all enjoy
all my home tour videos,
y'all thank Drew so much for all the
ideas and all the things and hard work that he
puts into this for me
because he likes it when you brag on
him. It makes him want to do
a lot more.
I hope he doesn't watch this video
but really I am very thankful for him.
But he built this bench for me.
This is a
twin size
bed. Somebody messaged me on
yard sale one day and said hey do you want
this? So of course I said yes
and he built it and then also
can't pick it up because there's things on it but you can
open this and it's a storage bench
and I put all my
pictures and photo albums in it.
I got this leather journal.
I love this.
I got this at like HomeGoods
and this is
just really pretty for me to doodle in
sketch out my ideas
and it's pretty. And then of course I got
the new Magnolia, I mean I'm sorry,
the new Joanna Gaines home body book.
Love that.
And then here's my poinsettias that are
from Home Depot for 99 cents.
Okay let's head into
our bathroom.
I told y'all I have a robe obsession.
Actually not all of them are robes
I just hang them there because I love putting them on if I get
cold in the house.
So there's three of them
and then I have
this little tree up there.
This I love.
I got this garland, live garland at
Home Depot. You saw that on my Black
Friday
video.
I love it hanging right here
in our bathroom over these windows.
It is gorgeous.
I thought it was gorgeous
but it confirmed it when
an interior designer on Instagram
tagged me in it and said
Bathtub Tuesday.
I was pretty excited to see that.
These are some little bath
bombs that I got from Bath and Body Works
and then I got some mistletoe
and just some live greenery
and this
is so pretty in here.
I know
it sounds like I'm bragging but I can't help it.
I love it.
You might not love it as much as I do
but I think that it turned out
just beautiful.
I love it.
I'll come over this way
and then
I got this candle at Ross and it smells
really good and it's a beautiful
jar.
I bought one of those little
towel ring things to put this in.
It did not look good
so I kept that.
The people on Instagram that voted
to get the towel ring and replace that, I'm
sorry, I tried. It looked terrible so
that's going to stay there.
What do you know? Another robe.
This robe is really, really
cozy and warm. I love
putting it on after I get out of the shower.
I had to buy a towel
too. I can't remember what that
is called. I should know because I googled it
enough but I forgot.
I forgot what the
material is called.
This shower curtain, we got it
because it stays so cold
in here in the winter.
We might
get one of those glass, I don't know, probably
not because I love the way that this turned out.
I thought the shower curtain was going to look dumb
but I really like it.
It keeps all the steam in.
I got this from Kirkland's. Oh, I'm sorry.
I got this from Target.
I love the little tassels
it has on the bottom of them.
And then
I have
this right here with a candle
and that keeps all of our shampoos and
conditioners so it keeps it pretty.
Okay, I'm not going to lie. Again, I cleaned
up for the home tour. Most of the time this lid
stays down here and then the shampoo
Drew's always stays here. I keep mine
in there because I'm a clean freak.
Drew, I can't get him to listen but hey
if that's the worst that he does.
All of my eucalyptus have dried up because I've had
these for a while in here
but they're so pretty so I just kept them in there.
I don't care if they're drying and
shriveling up. That's our
master shower. Oh, this I did too.
Loved this. Got command hooks
to put in here. I was too scared to drill in here.
Dad said he could but we were scared that if it
cracked we couldn't get any more tile.
So I found this at Hobby Lobby.
This little hook thing.
I can get that off.
Love that and it holds
my robe perfect so I don't
have to get out and freeze. I can put my
robe on in here after I get out of the shower
and then open the shower curtain and be
warm. It has another hook for our towel
and I just screwed it in
up there. I hung it. I did that.
Drew didn't help me.
I know. Putting a screw
into the wall isn't a big deal but it is
for me because Drew won't let me
do anything. This is another piece that
Drew built. It is actually our
dirty clothes hamper
and a bench. It's really cute and functional
and it hides all of our dirty clothes
and it holds a lot of dirty clothes
in case any of you are wondering
because I hate doing laundry.
I love him.
We got this from one of Drew's
great aunts. Nan gave us that.
This thing will not turn off anymore
and I'm telling you this light has
been going for over a month. I don't know
how it's doing it but keep up the good work
buddy. And going into our
guest bathroom.
I have some garland on top
of the mirror and I put
my little Christmas birds
that I've gotten everywhere.
I know I got him
from Petals
from the Past. I think I got him too.
The other two I think I got from Walmart
Hobby Lobby.
And then we have
this pretty milk glass light
with these that my Uncle Bill
and Aunt Angie made. Miss Althea's
brother and his wife.
I would just put a pic right
there.
And then I got this little hand
towel. Petals from the Past. They have the cutest
hand towels.
And then this is
another cute thing that Miss
Donna gave me. My subscriber.
I love it. I just put
some
Christmas ornaments in there.
See? Didn't use them on the tree. So I just
sat them there and stacked them in.
And on this shelf
I just have some washcloths,
a candle, and this
wreath that I just stuck a bow on.
Hey guys, it's starting to get dark
on me so I hope that the lighting is okay.
But here's one of my guest bedrooms.
This furniture actually came
from my mom's house where Daddy's
dialysis room is now. So
all this is just stuff that we had.
And we just
stuck it in here until Alyssa gets older.
And then she will get it.
Here's some coasters
that either Miss Althea
or Emily,
our cousin, we always do
homemade gifts. They made us
those.
And there's a candle right there.
I love that little mug Miss Althea
Madison made us that last year.
I love
this room.
And then this piece right here I found out
had a dump to be thrown away and I repainted
it. Drew needs to fix the top.
That won't close but
we'll get it fixed eventually.
And here's another one of those radios
that I love.
Earth Peace.
Love finding those. And then Drew built this
cabinet for me out of a window
pane that I had. He built around
it. And then this is my
adorable suitcase that
my mom and dad made me.
This is one of our Christmas
gifts that they gave us this year.
My mom painted this and my dad
drilled the holes and put the lights in.
It is so stinking cute. I love
this little guy.
I put a wreath above him. Oh it is
getting dark. I am so sorry. I need to hurry up.
This piece was also in
that bedroom.
There's one of our cows
and I put a wreath on top of her
head. I cannot believe that
she let me take that picture but it's my favorite
picture of our cows.
I found this at a thrift store
in Otis Christmas.
I got a little red tractor.
And this is my girly guest
room.
Drew put the boards
on top of those and I painted it. We got these from the
thrift store. I love these dressers.
Here's another
picture that Miss Donna
got me. I love it.
She said it reminded her of the courier
I've seen. I loved it.
My grandma gave me this hat.
Thank you so much Miss Donna for helping
me decorate for Christmas this year.
The bed.
I love
these ornaments. I found those at a thrift store.
This one is loaded
down with pillows because some of these go on our couch.
Right now the red pillows are on there.
So this one's got a lot of pillows
on this bed. But it looks super cozy.
This was my headboard whenever I was a little
girl at Mom and Dad's and we spray painted it gold.
Here's some of our wedding pictures.
And there's not much
to see in here but I wanted to show you some more
things that Drew built me and of course
the doggies are something to see.
Say hey Jip.
And there's his wife Maddie.
Come here.
Stretch. Those Christmas pictures wore
you guys out didn't it?
Say hey everybody.
Look at her cute little collar.
I got this from Target and it's so
cute. Put your head down so we can see it.
Look.
Drew built this because I needed a place
to put my brooms and vacuums and
cleaning stuff. And then I had this
already. So he put this here. This was
supposed to be like a little mudroom area.
But I redesigned it and he built
it and made my dream come true.
So I got the filing cabinet. He put boards
across there. Connected it to this piece
that he built. Now I have a desk and
a cleaning supply
closet. And then also
let me show you this wall that he built me.
The hot water heater is
behind this. It had a tacky
like door thing
over it. And
he built this over it
and it turned out so cute.
So this is my little mudroom wall.
I finally get to have one. And if you're
wondering how you get to the hot water heater
all you have to do is unscrew this screw and this screw
and this wall pops off.
If you go follow me on Instagram
at SimplyLakingLace you can see
how he did that. I have it
on my stories.
Like my saved stories.
Like I said, not much Christmas decor
in here. But for a
laundry room I think it's pretty cute. So I thought
I'd give you a glimpse.
I had to show you our twinkling
lights outside. Our string lights.
When we get them plugged up at night
they're so pretty. You can see them inside. It makes it
feel so festive. Drew's got us
a nice fire going.
Missy's liking it.
Aren't you Missy girl?
Drew's got it looking real
nice out here with the fire going.
Our lights on. I've
got the table set and we're going to eat
some taco soup out here.
I love our outdoor
area. We've enjoyed
it out here a lot.
We've got our taco soup
going on our
cast iron stove.
Drew's been
working away out here. I'm excited
about this. I love this
thing. Say hey to everybody.
How's it going everybody?
Missy!
I hope y'all have a very merry Christmas.
Remember what you're celebrating
and keep that in mind as you
decorate houses, host holiday parties,
give out warm hugs, buy gifts
for friends and family and the ones less fortunate.
Smile at your neighbors passing,
bake goodies, love unconditionally
and all the
other fun you're going to have during this holiday season.
For it is the most wonderful time
of the year, so I've heard.
Bye y'all. Merry Christmas from
Drew, Boo, myself,
Missy, Maddie and Jep.
We all hope that you have a very merry Christmas.
Bye!
