Okay y'all, I wanted to jump on real quick and I'm going to spice up these ramen noodles.
I bought these the other day and when you just have these in your pantry, maybe some
frozen vegetables.
These were like 99 cents.
They have them at Dollar Tree.
They have them at Kroger.
They have them everywhere.
I'm going to just, I'm going to see if I can stir fry them like, like low, I don't know.
Y'all, I don't know what I'm saying.
I'm going to turn this on.
I'm going to add sesame oil and I'm going to like put these in there without the seasoning
to start with.
I'm going to spice up this ramen noodle packet.
Um, I got sesame oil in the pan and I'm honestly going to put some, this is the wrong knife,
not to use that knife.
I don't know what I'm thinking.
I'm going to find the knife.
Okay.
We're going to use this knife.
Just chop up some, let's go ahead and add some of these peas and carrots.
We're going to add some peas and carrots.
Let this pack out.
Actually, I might make two packets so the kids can have some.
So I'm going to make two.
We're going to do two, um, packets.
We're going to use what we have.
Make a quick little lunchy lunch.
We'll stir fry.
Yep.
So maybe you have some of these ingredients, um, cut this onion, y'all.
I love a stir fry.
I love noodles.
I like lo mein is honestly my favorite or chow mein.
I love those types of noodles.
We're going to make this work y'all.
Using what we have.
I'm going to make slices because I love onions.
Just throw them in there.
Nothing fancy to this y'all.
We're just going to spice up this packet of noodles, add some vegetables, try to make
it stretch for us four.
Might cut up some garlic.
Garlic is always good in a stir fry.
All right.
Now we'll smash these with the back side.
Might not need one whole thing.
Well, depending on if you like garlic.
My hands are going to taste like garlic.
Add any seasoning yet because I'm going to add the seasoning from the packets.
You can do your own seasoning honestly y'all, but I'm going to add the chili because I'm
sure the chili flavor is good.
So I'm going to use that and don't waste that.
So I am going to use this packet and use this packet and I'm going to stir fry them first
before I add some water into it.
I'm going to get the lid for this pot.
All right.
So I've got the lid for when I need it.
Let's add some of the garlic.
Pop the last little bit.
Give it a little stir fry.
All right.
So we're going to go ahead and stir fry some of the noodles with it just to get it like,
you know, break them up a little bit.
They're too long if you don't break them.
Just like how you do rice pilaf, like you saute it a little bit first.
That's kind of what I'm doing here.
There's no science to this y'all.
You just go with how you feel.
Water in a second.
Just a little bit to like.
All right.
I just poured water in it.
I'm going to add the top and let it do what it do.
And then we'll start like stir frying it once the noodles get cooked a little bit.
So I'm going to stir it a little bit.
Ooh, that already feels good.
I know you have no seasoning in it.
Stir the noodles down in the water so it can get steamed.
The noodles are definitely softening up.
Put this back on.
Shake it up, shake it up, shake it up.
We could go ahead and add the seasoning packets so it can get in there with it.
Let me smell it first.
Ooh, that smells like chili.
We're going to add a little bit more water when we get it covered.
I'll just add a little bit of bottled water to it.
Just a little bit more.
We'll mix it up.
And then we'll put the lid on it.
The noodles are coming.
I'm going to move this stuff out of the house way.
All right.
Add the lid and let it cook it up.
Okay, the noodles are cooking really well now.
Add some parsley.
I love parsley.
You can add green chives if you have those, but this is what I have on hand.
Look at this.
You can add chicken to it.
I'm not, though.
I just wanted like a vegetable stir fry.
Y'all, I'm not a big meat eater.
I like meat, but I'm not a big meat eater.
I can live off of vegetables.
And worst case scenario, if this is what you have, eat what you got, y'all.
This is what you have.
You spice it up and get full off of it.
Look at how good this is looking, y'all.
Do y'all see this?
Quick little...
Could feed a couple people.
Start a meowing.
I'm going to taste it in a minute and I can add different things to it if I need to.
I decided I am going to add some protein.
We're going to add egg.
Yeah, like in fried rice.
Why not?
We're going to add an egg in here.
We're going to add two.
Give it some protein, y'all.
I get creative when you're running out of stuff.
If you don't have egg, maybe use some chicken.
If you don't have any of those, just have a vegetable stir fry.
You just mix it up so it'll stir fry in here.
Y'all, it's going to be so good.
This is how you doctor up some noodles, y'all.
Yeah.
Taste it in a minute.
It looks so good.
The egg just gave it some texture.
And y'all, the noodles are basically done.
Make sure the egg's cooked before I taste it.
I'll see if I need to add some sriracha.
I might add some of this sweet chili sauce.
I got sweet chili.
I have sriracha.
I have rice vinegar.
And I have soy sauce over here.
So I can get creative depending on what it needs.
The egg was a good choice for thickening it up.
Turn it down just a little bit so the egg doesn't burn.
Let's try it now.
Oh, we need to do dishes.
Let's try it.
Oh, I hate scraping sound.
Y'all, we're about to try it.
Here, I'm going to see what seasoning it needs.
Mm.
Ooh.
Y'all, that is good.
What seasoning?
It does not taste like regular ramen noodles.
What can I add?
I can add a little bit of, I actually don't need anything,
but I'm going to add a little bit of this sweet chili just
to spice it up a little bit.
Not too much.
Just a little bit of that.
Give it a little bit of extra flavor.
Mm.
You can also boil the egg and put a boiled egg with it
if that's what you want to do.
I'm going to add a drop of rice wine vinegar.
Just that much.
Ooh, I love the way that rice wine vinegar smells.
Look at it.
I could have added a couple more packages and fed everybody,
but whoever wants to eat this, sure enough can eat it.
That is done.
This is it.
That's the pieces of egg in it.
Y'all, it's so good.
I'm about to plate that.
Oh, here's my plate for lunch.
Quick little lunch, spicing up some ramen noodles,
and here we go.
And the cat wants it right here.
That's how good it is.
She wants, she smells that.
Them noodles smell good.
Y'all, definitely check it out.
If you're trying to find things in your pantry to use up,
try some of these spiced up ramen noodles.
Can't talk here.
Thank you guys so much for watching.
I love you and hope everyone's having a wonderful day,
and I will see you on my next video.
Bye, everyone.
