#2 The Beginning - Permaculture Market Garden From

Hi, we're Harriet and Mauro and in 2021 we bought an abandoned smallholding on the east coast of Spain.

One of the pipedreams we've always had for this land is to somehow make a little bit of money from it, selling organic, high quality fruit and veg (and maybe in other ways too - who knows where we'll end up with our crazy ideas!)

A couple of months ago I (Harriet) left my conventional full-time job to be able to spend more time working on the land and the house. I am excited to take you along on this adventure as I learn more about growing food, managing our land, improving our soil and just generally having a lot of fun with my hands in the soil.

In this video I want to give you a summary of where we're at, right now, so you can clearly see where we're starting from in terms of size, knowledge, infrastructure, etc. In short - from 0!
