Therapist reacts to WORRYING weight loss show| My Little Thought Tree

The weight loss reality tv show My 600-lb Life is a big hit in America, starring Dr Now. It's also quite a concerning, shaming, dehumanising show wrapped up in the gloss of something supposedly inspiring. I try to be fair, perhaps too fair, but this show worries me in just the same way Dr. Phil worries me. Is Dr. Now any better? Probably. Is his show itself any better? Not particularly.
