MOVING VLOG __ moving into my dream seattle apartment!

The elevator to the new apartment is not working. So we are on the top floor and thankfully the top floor is the fourth floor. So it's not crazy, but let me just tell you that I'm a little frustrated. Figuring out exactly how to pack up the kitchen, that's kind of like what's left is the kitchen and then a few like random kind of decorative objects. As I said, we got a new couch, which is coming on Monday. This is going to be staying here and we're going to be selling it. Still got a few hours to go. Tony is getting more whatever was left over in the fridge right now. And then my mom, my sister here, I already put a bunch of stuff away. We have our plates here. We're going to put our glassware here, but we literally have like no glasses because a lot of them broke. Here we're going to do spices on the bottom, even though we didn't get any of the spices yet. Yoni is bringing them right now. And then this is smoothie situation. And then a bunch of like peanut butter, tahini, you know, honey. And then my pantry is going to be down here. Usual stuff where all the other stuff is, all the cutlery and whatnot. And I don't know, other stuff like parchment paper. I'm so excited, guys. Literally, like, okay. And then my mom, my sister are here. Mom, sister. And we're putting together the bed frame right now and the camera's dying, so I'm sorry. But I'll try to get more footage. Hey guys. So right now, what's happening is I thought I was going to be able to build all this ----, but I don't have a hammer or a screwdriver, so we have to go to the studio and get that. First, I have to go pick up Elliot. She is hungry and studying. She needs a break from studying, I believe. I don't even know why I'm saying all this ----, because none of it is going to be on the vlog. All right, guys. Elliot, I'm practicing again. Don't get mad at me. All right, guys. We are going to pick up Elliot. Let's go into the studio, get the hammer. It is nasty outside, but that's Seattle, right? We finally got the hammer, so we can continue building the shoe rack, and then we also got this. Elliot's back. I mean, I'm back. We got burritos on the way. We only got burritos on the way. Yeah. Anything else? No, that's it. So I just built this whole thing almost all on my own, I'm going to say. We also just got delivered the couch, so that's why we brought the couch up here, but then we wanted to finish this, because it was in the middle of the living room. This is the first time I ever bought a couch that I didn't see. Well, this is only the second time I ever buy a couch, but this is the first time I'm buying a couch online that I've never seen in person, so let's hope it's good. When he was taking a nap, I made this for the bathroom. It's this little bathroom storage. You can see it's this, then the toilet, and then this is right here. There's not that much space in between. If you sit down on the toilet, this is here, you know? I guess it's not that bad. Bathroom check. It has a little door. Look at this. This is our hallway full of just boxes. This is all from the couch. We still have to put together the desk, which is this and this, and the desk is going to go right here. I am so in love with this couch, guys. Look at the freaking ... Look at that. The light coming through. I love this little thing. I'm in love with this so much. All right, guys. I'm literally never going to stop talking about this couch. It's just perfect. I'm just scared that this couch is going to get dirty because I know it will get dirty. Okay, so are you just never going to have nice things that can potentially get dirty just because they're going to get dirty? Yes, that's correct. I don't agree. Hey, guys. Today's Wednesday. Wait, wait, wait. Stop. Yesterday, we didn't do anything for the house, so that's why I didn't film anything. But I'm done with my funnels. I'm done with everything. We are building the desk right there, so that's what's happening. I'm officially on summer break, bitches. Cheers to that. Okay, let's get building. Hey, guys. It's the next day. I'm so sorry. There's just been a lot going on, and I did not vlog anything else yesterday besides putting together the desk. I actually just got this delivered, so I'm going to show it to you. It's from Open Spaces, and they're basically a storage company. Oh, wow. These are so big. Shit. I did not know they were going to be this big. Okay, that's fine. Some shelves, sort of. They're open. Shelves they put in a space, you know what I mean? Really big. I thought they were going to be much smaller. Be like this, kind of. Got some glasses yesterday from Crate & Barrel. They're just some wine glasses. In our last apartment, we did not have any wine glasses, so I just wanted to feel more adult. Also got two of these glasses, and I really like the shape because I like how it's wider at the bottom and then narrower. It goes kind of in at the top. I got these super trendy ones. They're like fluted glasses. The same brand called Open Spaces. We got these storage containers. In my opinion, you can never have enough storage, and I kind of just, in this apartment, I don't want to have a lot of stuff out. I said on my Instagram that I am very, very, very inspired to bake. I'm not a big baker. I'm much more of a cook. I like to chef it up. So I went to Target yesterday, and I got some bakeware that I didn't have before. I got a loaf pan, loaf tin. I don't know what you call this, but yeah, I'm pretty sure it's a loaf pan. And yeah, banana bread, maybe an olive oil grapefruit cake, peach cake, peach loaf, different stuff like that. I just really want to bake this summer, make like really cute baked summer goods. Then I got a springform, which has like, you know, the clasp here. Cheesecake. You can make also an olive oil cake, which is like my favorite cake, and we were definitely going to make that at some point, and I'll show you guys. I finally feel like I'm coming home to like a place where I can just be here and relax. It's not like stuff everywhere. We still have to put this box right here. This box is full of any type of like office stuff. We didn't have time to actually like put all that stuff away. So that's the last big box that we have to put away with all of the cords, and podcast equipment, video equipment, and Yoni's photography equipment, and cords, and all that stuff. I love with this apartment, and it's literally going to be life-changing. Like I'm not gonna, it's not extreme to say that, because living in our other apartment was hard, because it was very, very dark. Anyways, I'm just really, really excited to be here, and to decorate, and to make it my home, and to take you guys along, and I'm so excited for all the content that I'm going to create in here. I'm just really excited for what's to come. This summer feels like it's going to be a little bit of a life-changing summer, and I'm very excited. I'm also very excited to take you guys along with me.
