Repar an Old Windows XP Computer

What's up guys in this video? I'm going to show you how to fix an old computer so you can then sell it a lot of us have one of these Computers at home, but we have no idea how to fix it Thinking that we have to buy a new license a new windows license So we can get it back to life But you actually don't have to because a lot of them actually come with a windows license Already at the bottom of the computer so let's take a look at this one if I turn this one over you're going to see that this one has a Windows license, I'm going to go ahead and cover it so you don't see the entire license, but at the bottom you have this so now all you have to do this one has a windows XP license is to download To make a bootable USB flash drive so we can then install the windows XP on this computer Let me show you how to do it. Well first off. I'm going to have all of the instructions on hardware savvy calm but essentially what you want to do or you want to go to Google and type this and type this in and You're going to see a couple of results make sure that you're downloading from a credible source What you want to do is you want to download the windows XP service pack 3i so you want to download a bootable one? I went to this link over here, and I'm going to show you how how to do it. I clicked on here and Here at the bottom you're going to see a little download icon make sure to scan it for viruses to make sure that you don't Have any viruses are coming into your computer with the file Then what you want to do you want to download this utility called ISO to USB and want to download it and install it you're going to navigate to the To the ISO image that you just downloaded then you're going to insert a thumb drive into your computer thumb drive that Will the all the information from the thumb drive will be erased you want to navigate to that one you want to choose X fat? Or maybe fat depending on the size, and then you want to click this bootable you have you want to make a bootable partition When you're done click burn When the process is done you want to remove the thumb drive from your computer, and you want to plug it in to your laptop Okay, now that it's plugged in we're going to go ahead and reboot it for this particular laptop, we're going to click f12 and it's going to bring us to the boot menu and Once we get to the boot menu you want to select the thumb drive that you currently have in there And the one that I have is Samsung so under USB so like this And then you want to press enter and when you're done with that just go through the setup process and set up your windows And once you're done your computer is going to be good to go Oh, and make sure to enter the license key That's located at the bottom of your computer in here when you install it you can do a clean installation This is what I recommend if you do not want to keep the files that you have on there And it's going to be good to go if you have any questions make sure to ask them in the comments or You can also comment your questions if you're watching this video at hardware savvy calm Thanks very much for attention, and I'll see you in the next video stay savvy
