Today's video is sponsored by Ridge wallet.
Ridge wallet is the next new wave of wallets. The sleek,
the modern and the minimalistic design is what millions are talking about over
30,000 five-star reviews.
And honestly I have been rocking this sweet Tiki one here for the summer.
They also have some other cool designs, which I'm also in love with.
The forged carbon. This is the money clip. It holds your money.
It keeps everything just so much better than that old 90 style wallet that your
dad is probably rocking and talking about dad's father days are coming up.
This is going to be an awesome present.
And I just wanted to go ahead and show you guys as well as if you want 10% off
your next order, use this coupon code down below.
Thank you so much Ridge wallet for sponsoring this video.
Let's get on with the show guys. Look what I found on offer up a pristine,
1968 Ford Mustang for a great price.
Let's see if this thing is actually for real though. Looking at these photos,
it looks pretty damn mint. If you ask me,
that is the money shot right there that I'm super excited about.
And at two 89 motor, it looks fairly new, fairly rebuilt. Hopefully it runs.
Hopefully it doesn't have too much rust. Uh,
hopefully it's a in good condition so that we can take this project to a next
level. I'm pretty excited. Let's see what the description says.
So up in long beach, 1968 Mustang fastback with automatic transmission and the
289, uh, automatic is all right. You may have to do a manual,
all electrical and mechanical parts working.
Use it every weekend on the highway and street.
So that's pretty awesome that it's working. Let's go ahead and check it out.
Okay.
I cannot believe this day has finally come after months and months of
searching the perfect car finally popped up and I just cannot believe I'm about
to do this.
Just got out of Navy federal credit union, got the cash for the car.
I just want to give a big shout out to Navy federal credit union.
I know I'm not sponsored by them,
but they're the one credit union that actually believed in my mission,
my goal as well as my current financial state here.
So big shout out to Navy federal.
I literally went to about like five different credit unions,
two different banks got denied anywhere, but Navy fed came through.
So huge shout out. Now we've got the cash.
Let's go ahead and drive all the way up to LA to pick up the car.
To hide your face and you wear a bow around like you're cool with me and you
never say, Hey, you'll remember my name.
And it's probably got me. You've got to stay.
Does that have a cam in it? There's a cam. Do you know?
It sounds like it is. I haven't got into the motor. Okay.
Really? Yeah. He likes the classic mustang car type.
Yeah. He's got a 69 though. Yeah. I love the six nine front end.
It's just the rear end. This, the rear end has it on the 68s. Yeah.
I just love the rear end so much. Yeah.
I was going to, it's supposed to get another six nine fastback,
but my engine builder talked me out of a six nine and to search for a 68 and I
was no regrets at all. Yeah. I think that's 69 though.
Yeah. That's probably the ultimate mustang.
If I were once you get out of like that particular thing, it's like, yeah,
that's six.
First gas up for Beverly here at the show right by the four Oh five.
I don't know how much miles per gallon.
Hopefully she can make the drive down from San Diego.
We're currently in long beach.
The gas gauge also does not work on this car.
That's the one thing that's doesn't work mechanically on this car that I know of
as of now. But, uh, I do have an extra five gallon tank.
I filled it up about 12 gallons, so hopefully it can make it down to San Diego.
But if it doesn't, no worries. We have the spare,
but she just looks so good boys. I'm so excited. Like I can't,
it's still not real to me. I cannot believe this is my car.
1968. Thank you. I appreciate it.
Oh.
Riders. Welcome Beverly.
She is a 1968 Mustang GT fastback with a 289.
