AirPods Max 2 Release Date and Price – October 2022 Release

The successor to the Airpods Max, the Max 2, could be coming with a lower price, 2022 release, with this latest report. We also have the latest summary of everything we know so far for all the specs we've been told about and the latest info for the Airpods Max 2 release date and price. So, the Airpods Max has been out now for over 18 months. They were first introduced right at the end of 2020 as the last Apple product that came out that year. There was no special event or anything, however on Apple's website it gives you all the details about the current Airpods Max. The Airpods Max essentially has most of the same features as the Airpods Pro, but the main difference is the Airpods Max are overhead earphones compared to some buds designed like the normal Airpods and also the Airpods Pro models. So, moving on, I've decided for all the new Airpods Max 2 videos like this one you are watching, going forward, I'm going to give you the latest details on specific leaks and reports, then details of the plan, release date time, then a summary of the model and then also I'm going to go over the features and everything like that of what has been provided in previous leaks. After this, I'm going to reveal what I'd like to see in the Airpods Max 2, but let's jump in then with that Airpods Max 2 report of its 2022 release time. So, a report has come in from Mark Gurman from Bloomberg who has said that Apple definitely has some second generation Airpods 2 on the cards that will come out this fall. However, he also mentioned that the next generation's Airpods Max are coming out with some more colours and possibly even a price drop as the current one costs $550, what is very high for a pair of overhead earphones. To put this into perspective, you could basically buy 5 pairs of second generation Airpods for this price from Apple right now or 2 pairs of Airpods Pro with still $50 change. So, as you can see, they are a lot of money. So, if Mark is right here, then I'm hoping for at least a $100 reduction or even a $150 reduction. I think the Airpods Max should be worth more than the Airpods Pro, but not double the price or over double the price like they are right now at the moment. However, the main piece of news to take away from this is that the Airpods Max 2 or a refresh to the current Airpods Max are coming this fall alongside the brand new Airpods Pro 2. So, with release date next. So, Mark Gurman was correct. At the Apple event we just had in September for the iPhone, we saw the brand new Airpods Pro 2s, but we didn't see the brand new Airpods Max 2. And there is a possibility why this is, because there's not going to be any sort of any big changes to design or anything like that. And there is the possibility that we might see the Airpods Max 2 at the October event. What could be happening this October time, but it might also still not happen at all. As we've been told, it could be moved into November time or the other possibility that Apple might just do a sort of a news release sort of issue out on their webpage and just update the Apple Max 2s to the kind of new chipsets and new abilities that we saw in the Airpods Pro 2. So, we'll just have to wait and see on that. But if there is a likely time it is going to come out, it probably is going to come out this time in October or November, or the other time when it's probably going to come out is there could be an update in Spring 2024. Now, something else I just want to say here, and I've been saying a lot of my recent videos, but just a quick note here. With leaks being so early, and to be honest, any leaks up to the Airpods release date that I find and I show you guys, a lot of these leaks of other Apple products have come true, but a lot of them can sometimes get misinterpreted based on the facts that the leakers have been told. So, I can only present to you what I've been told and shown, and remember that no leak or rumour is 100% true until we see the final Airpods Max being shown officially from Apple. However, if you are like me, and you're watching this video still, then you as curious as I am in knowing what the next generation Airpods Max is going to be like, and you'll want to know the latest leaks and rumours, what they're going to be, no matter what they're telling us. But, the great thing is guys, I've got another giveaway, and because we're approaching half a million subscribers, and this is a big number, I'm doing an extra special giveaway. This time guys, I'm going to be giving away an iPhone 14 Pro Max, and it's a 256GB model in deep purple. Not only this, I'm also going to be giving away a MacBook Air as well, and this is also the 10-core GPU option, with also 256GB of storage and 16GB of RAM inside that, and not only this guys, I'm also going to be giving away a MacBook Pro, another one, an M1 Pro, and this one has got the 8-core setup, and also has 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, and I'm going to be giving away one of these prizes to three lucky winners. So, they'll be picked at random, and one of you will get one of these random prizes, and basically there are three items to give away, and if you want to be in a chance to get one of these items in this big giveaway that I am doing, make sure in the comments below to write what Apple products, what technology products you're hoping to buy in 2022. Put them down in the comments below, and also at the same time as well guys, I'll be announcing who the winner is of these three prizes and the three winners via video, so make sure that you subscribe to this channel, and also hit that notification bell if you're brand new here, because you don't want to miss out on that video if you are the lucky person. One other quick note guys, I've just got to say, there are lots of spammers and scammers out there telling you to whatsapp them, or to telegram them, telling you that you've won a prize to PM them or direct message them. This is not me at all. You've heard from me, I will be making a video when we get over 500,000 subscribers and only at that point. If you get any other messages, or if you're told to part with some money to win a prize, this is not me. Please do report these scammers straight away, and with that out of the way guys, let's return back to the video. So with the latest leaks and release date out of the way, let's move on to a summary of everything we know so far that the previous leaks have painted a picture of the details of what the Airpods Max 2, with its price as well, will look like. So a lot of new technology or technology that was originally in the original Airpods Max is going to be inside the Airpods Max 2. So this is things like active noise cancellation, transparency mode, adaptive EQ, and possibly we might even see things like conversation boost being added to the Airpods Max and also spatial audio will also be coming back as well for the Max 2. We're also hoping that we'll be getting an ultra wideband connectivity. This is the same technology what's basically inside the AirTag. So if you do lose your Airpods, you can find them much more easier at sort of a closer range than just using reliable ability of other Apple devices and their seeing the Airpods in a nearby location. Also we're hoping that Bluetooth will also be upgraded to Bluetooth 6.0 and then also we're hoping that the fitness tracking motion sensors that are probably coming to the Airpods Pro 2 will also be coming to the Airpods Max. It just makes sense for them to come into this. Something else that is coming is going to be left and right ear recognition. So this basically means no matter which way you put the Airpods Max onto your head, whether you put the left side onto the left or you know the left side onto the right of what goes over your ear, it doesn't matter. The actual Airpods will recognise this is on the left side, this is on the right side and play the correct audio depending on which ear it's actually touching. Also something else we're hoping for and it looks likely that it's coming is also to get some waterproofing inside the Airpods Max. So IPX7, so this is around about up to a metre or basically splash proof on them. A lot of people wear their Airpods Max out and about and it makes sense then if you get caught out in the rain that they actually are waterproof. Colours as well, we're probably still getting the normal space grey, silver, pink, green, blue but it's also likely it will probably be getting a brand new product red and also the possibility of a purple. For battery life, things probably won't change much here. Currently the Airpods Max have up to a 20 hour battery life and it's most likely this will be retained this time round for the Airpods Max 2. And then finally the price, the price will probably be about $549 US dollars, what is the current price of the Airpods Max at the moment but you never know, Apple may lower the price maybe by $100 or so, we'll just have to wait and see on that. So that is a summary of the Airpods Max 2. However for my thoughts and wishes, my wish is actually to do with that price. Now I mentioned this before but the price of the Airpods Max is $550 US dollars and that is the same price or basically $50 off the price of an M1 iPad Air. What is totally crazy when you think about it, an iPad Air is giving a whole load of tech for this price, also speakers inside it as well and then basically it only costs $50 more than the Airpods Max. So with this I do hope that the Airpods Max price has changed because I think it's unfairly priced at the moment and I think it should be at least $100 to $150 less than what Apple are currently selling the current generation for. I'm hopeful that the next generation Airpods Max will come down to basically maybe a little bit more than the current Airpods Pro. Remember the Airpods Pro right now cost $250 and I think they should be a little bit more than this but not too much more and also especially the Airpods Pro do actually have a couple of extra features inside them like wireless charging with the case and also has that hearing aid option as well. So it just seems a bit unfair for the Airpods Max to be charged so much more money, double the price or more than double the price of Airpods Pro and yet has slightly less features. Apple definitely needs to reduce the price of these headphones in my opinion but let me know your thoughts if you agree on this or not and also write down in the comments below of what you would love to see in the next generation Airpods Max 2. Well guys it's time to wrap up this video so if you have enjoyed watching it please make sure to press the like button and also at the same time as well if you want to hear the latest Apple news, reviews and comparisons please also make sure to hit the subscribe button followed by the notification bell.
