What is going on everybody and welcome back to Mad Detailing. Today's video is on this Toyota Corolla
and looking at the outside it's not too bad. You can tell that it hasn't been washed in a very long
time and the paint is in very bad condition and it's whenever we move to the interior of this car
when it gets much worse. The seats are absolutely covered in grease, grime, you name it. The floor
has a ton of food and trash and just a lot of staining but as you guys know here at Mad Detailing
we're going to make this Toyota look brand new again. So if you guys are new to this channel
make sure you guys like and subscribe. I post brand new videos every Thursday at 12 p.m eastern
standard time. And also make sure you guys stay tuned to the very end of the video because we
did get the owner's reaction when he comes to pick up his car. So starting off this detail with
cleaning the engine bay we're first using our pressure washer to blow away all the loose dirt
and grime. Then we'll spray the entire engine bay down with our Mad Detailing Extreme APC.
We're also going to use a bunch of different brushes so we can make sure we get in all the
tight cracks and crevices. Honestly this is overkill if you guys normally see me do engine
bays I just you know spray it down with the APC and spray it off. But honestly we were getting
pretty bored and want to spice it up a little bit so yeah enjoy. So moving on to cleaning the wheels
and tires I'm using our Mad Detailing Extreme APC on the tires wheels and fender wells. Then I'll
use a couple different brushes. If you guys didn't know the Extreme APC can be used as a wheel and
tire cleaner. I'm using it right now at a four to one dilution ratio and our Extreme APC is honestly
one of the most versatile all-purpose cleaners on the market. So if you guys would like to try
this cleaner or any of our Mad Detailing products you guys can head over to www.maddetailingusa.com
or you guys can shop directly on YouTube down below with Shopify. So moving on to cleaning
the paint I'm using our Extreme APC diluted 10 to 1. You can also use some type of snow foam or
any all-purpose cleaner but I prefer using an all-purpose cleaner as my pre-soak because when
you're working on a vehicle that has this much dirt and grime you want to get as much of it
removed before you move on to a contact wash. That way you're not you know moving a wash mitt
around with a bunch of dirt and grime and creating a lot of swirls and scratches.
And moving on to the contact wash I'm using our Mad Detailing Super Blue Soap in a foam cannon
and I'm going to give the vehicle a nice hand wash with a soft microfiber wash mitt.
So moving on to cleaning the interior I'm first removing all the loose trash and debris
anything that is too big to be sucked up by the vacuum and then I go ahead and give this carpet
a good vacuum. I'm also going to be using a drill brush to loosen up all this dog hair and all the
sand that is embedded into the carpet and then we can get this carpet removed and I'll explain more
about that later on in the video. And this right here is the exact reason why we pull the carpets
on these nasty vehicles because there is always something underneath them. This one has some like
nasty goo I don't know what it is but it's like really sticky and it's still wet and honestly
the carpet in this toyota was not bad at all so you wouldn't think that there would be this much
dunk underneath it but honestly the carpet nowadays in these vehicles is so cheaply made
and it's so thin so anytime you guys spill anything in your car and you don't clean it up right away
it seeps right through the carpet to the floor pan of the vehicle and honestly the only way to
clean it is to remove the carpet. Removing the carpet is really not that big of a deal if you
know how to remove these seats the center console the carpet comes out in about 35 seconds after
that so it's really not a big deal for us so if you guys are wondering is it necessary to move the
carpet well I mean I guess it just really depends on who you ask but we spend about two to three days
sometimes you know cleaning these cars and we're not going to spend that much time effort and money
just to give a customer back a vehicle that is not 100% clean so yeah it's really up to you guys but
that is the main reason why we pull the carpets in all of our vehicles. And for the tools and
products that I'm using on the seat extraction I'm first using our Xtreme APC as a cleaner
following that up with a Milwaukee drill with a drill brush attachment and for the extractor I'm
using a new machine by Mighty that they sent me and honestly I'm super stoked on this I'm going
to be talking more about this in about a couple weeks I'm just testing it out and figuring out all
the features but honestly this is a super game changer for my shop and I know it'll be a game
for you guys as well so honestly I'm super stoked for this so make sure you guys stay tuned.
So moving on cleaning the interior panels I'm using our Mad Clean all-purpose cleaner
and I'm following that up with a boar's hair detail brush I'm also using a steamer to loosen
up all this dirt and grime and then I'm using our compressed air to make sure I blow out all
the tight cracks and crevices. And moving on to cleaning the carpet as you guys can see this is
actually underneath the carpet and how bad it was um this is pretty nasty but for this I'm just using
our Xtreme APC I'm lightly using a drill brush and for this you're not looking to get the stain
removed because it's not gonna happen this this felt is like uh it's white and it's stained for
good but what you want to do is you want to extract it or clean it until the water is 100%
clean and also once you have the carpet out you have a few different options here you can extract
the carpet just like this on the front and the back or you could just pressure wash the carpet
which is honestly the easiest way so in this video I gave you guys the best of both worlds
because I know you guys like to watch both. Before I can move on to any type of paint correction I
need to clay bar the surface and for this I'm using a synthetic clay bar and our Mad Detailing
clay lube. Honestly this paint is absolutely destroyed it's covered in rock chips dents
scratches water spots there's a ton of pitting that it wouldn't come out no matter what you did
so for this we're trying to get the paint as shiny as possible we're not worried about the crazy
defects because it's just not worth it this is a daily driver it's gonna ride back on the road
it's probably never gonna be washed again so my goal here is to get the car as shiny as possible
so the fastest way to do that is going to be a rotary polisher I'm using a Dewalt polisher here
with a wool pad and I'm using heavy cut compound I'm going to use this on the entire vehicle and
I'm going to polish it out with a Rupes 21 polisher a red polishing pad and Sonax perfect
finish and then to seal the paint we're going to simply use our Mad Detailing ceramic spray sealant
this thing's looking crazy
dude there's no way yeah they were pretty bad yeah no they were seriously bad that's insane
it literally looks brand new again this is insane if my mom was here she'd be so happy
dude yeah this is amazing thank you guys no problem bro holy crap and you got the hubcaps
on there too damn thank you guys no thank you for real how did you get the seats that bad
so I'm gonna be honest you know we're mechanics you know get kind of dirty from time to time but
this thing's been like a real workhorse since like 2014 in between project cars I'm sure you
guys probably found the oil spill yeah that happened a long time ago it was on the carpet
right yeah I was pressurized I was like rainbow yeah no I was bringing oil to fill up the 240
back when I had it and uh kind of knocked over in there so just a lot of things just a lot of
little random accidents but yeah need to treat my car better well it's got a fresh start now
thank you thank you
