So I'm pregnant!
Oh my god, look! Two lines!
I cannot believe it.
Today I am five weeks and five days and we found out about a week ago.
I got a blood test on like earlier this week and my HCG levels were at 10,300.
So the doctor was like, yep, you're definitely pregnant.
I just, I don't know, I don't know.
If you follow me on Instagram, I've talked about it a little bit like,
and probably on my YouTube too, but um, but like I've been seeing a naturopath
and I have been working with her.
Like I come off the pill, it's probably been over a year now,
and I've just been like getting my body ready for pregnancy.
So we were literally going to give it our first try, like my next ovulation.
And it happened already.
Like what? Oh my god.
I don't have like any fancy surprising my husband video.
Like I was literally just feeling these symptoms and my period was a few days late
and I haven't had a late period since I come off the pill.
So I was like, oh that's a bit weird, but I was kind of just like leaving it.
And then it was a Thursday, like it was Thursday last week,
I said to Clinton, oh I think I'm going to test on Saturday because like,
I don't know, like my period's still late,
but all the other symptoms I was experiencing were very similar to PMS symptoms,
but just like ramped up.
So like for example, my boobs, so sore, so heavy,
and my nipples, oh my god, they have been so sore.
I had like a lot of acne on my jaw and I've still got quite a bit.
Um, I was feeling a little bit tired.
There were a few days where I was a little bit, like felt a bit nauseous,
but again, I just thought it was all your period's coming kind of symptoms.
But yeah, so I said to Clinton, oh I think I might do a test on Saturday.
He's like, let's just do one now.
He's like, I have a feeling you are, like why else wouldn't your period be here?
I'm like, okay.
So I literally like went and did a pregnancy test and that was it.
It was positive and he come in and he was like, what's it say?
I showed him and we were just like...
Oh my god.
So I'm very grateful that we are pregnant.
Like it just, it happened.
What the hell?
Oh my god.
My symptoms haven't been too bad.
Like as I said, just boobs.
Large and in charge, I tell ya.
And yeah, just very fatigued.
Like I am in bed and asleep by like 8.15, 8.30.
Like I cannot keep my eyes open for the life of me.
I'm so exhausted.
I'm starting to feel a little bit nauseous.
Like today I haven't been feeling very well,
but I haven't like vomited or anything yet.
But I'm sure those fun times are ahead.
So I will keep you updated on how I'm feeling and when I tell my family.
But I just, I just can't believe it.
I don't even think I've really like processed it yet either.
Like it's just, it's been a big week.
Like finding out we're pregnant.
Clinton started his new job this week.
My sister gave birth today to a little baby boy.
Like it's been a big week.
So I don't even think I've like fully processed it.
And despite me crying right now, I haven't been that emotional.
And I'm an emotional person.
And I feel like I've been pretty, pretty normal.
Like I think this is the first time I've really like let some tears out.
But anyway.
So I'm at six weeks, one day today.
And the nausea has ramped right up.
Like I feel sick at every moment unless I'm eating.
And then after I eat, I feel better for like 30 minutes and then it's back.
So I just went and did the groceries.
I also, okay, I'm a big water drinker.
Like all I drink is water and I just cannot stomach it.
It's making me yuck.
So I've got a variety of liquids starting with this big ass Powerade.
And I also like, I don't like really sweet drinks.
So I'll even like probably water that down.
I've got some sparkling waters and I'll put some lemon in it.
And then I also got some lemonade just so I can like try and burp.
And then I got this tropical juice.
So a few different liquids to try.
Good morning.
So it hasn't been very long since my last check-in.
I am currently six weeks and four days.
I'm sick at the moment.
I hung out with my niece the other day
and I swear toddlers are just germ-fest, like covered in germs.
I always get sick when I hang out.
But holy hell, the nausea, it's underrated.
I feel like people really don't tell you how bad it is.
I haven't vomited yet, thank God.
But I kind of feel like I would feel better if I vomited
because it's just sitting there.
I have just been so unwell the last couple days, like with this cold and the nausea.
And like, I don't want to complain because I feel so lucky to have fallen pregnant.
But yeah, it's not pleasant.
Anyway, I'm about to go into the doctors.
So when I first found out I was pregnant,
I went to the doctors and we did a blood test just to confirm like my HCG levels
and to like, yeah, confirm that I was pregnant.
So now that we've done that, I had to go and get more blood tests and do a urine sample.
I can't remember what any of it was for, but I'm about to go find out.
And then after this, once I hit eight weeks, I can book an ultrasound.
So that'll be exciting.
Get to see the baby and hear a heartbeat.
Everything I've been reading and watching, it says like the morning sickness
like really kicks into gear around week six and seven.
So I'm expecting the next couple of weeks to be a bit hard.
But every time I take my vitamins and like have to drink water, I'm like,
it's for the baby.
It's for the baby.
Every time I look in the fridge, it's just nothing looks good.
Nothing sounds appealing.
Nothing looks appealing.
It's just, it all sounds rotten and I can't stomach it.
Officially seven weeks today.
And like, I don't know if I'm just like being a baby,
but feeling this nauseous all the time.
It's just like, I feel like no one really talks about it.
I don't know many people talk about the first trimester anyway,
but like I feel like ---- just nauseous all the time and I can't vomit.
Like I just want to vomit.
I feel like it would feel so much better, but I just keep gagging and gagging.
Like I've got like heaps of content for Brand Stew as well.
Like literally like four days.
I think I've got four things that are due.
So that's like played in the back of my mind that I really need to get that done.
But I just want to lay down.
I know like this is, this is just the beginning, but
I just feel sick.
But I'm glad that we've made it to seven weeks.
It says that the baby will start developing like its little limbs this week.
It's the size of a blueberry.
I'm pretty sure like last week or the week before
it was only a little lentil.
So it's gotten so much bigger.
Emotional rollercoaster I tell you.
I don't know if this is like hormones kicking in or what.
But I just, I just keep having these thoughts like
how am I meant to do this?
Like I can't even handle being a bit nauseous.
How am I going to do it?
Deep down I know I'm strong enough and I know I can do it.
And this is what we wanted.
But I just feel so ---- and so sick.
And it's like how am I going to cope if I can't even cope with this?
Anyway, I'm just making something to eat.
I've got some crumpets.
I'm going to make a smoothie just to try and get something in me.
Like it's just disgusting.
I don't want to eat anything.
I can't drink water.
It's just rough.
Hello.
All right.
I am officially eight weeks and three days.
So the last week was pretty rough.
I was just nauseous non-stop.
Literally had a little vomit every single day.
It just wasn't nice.
This week so far I've been feeling a bit better.
Not nauseous like all the time.
It just comes every now and then.
I've been super, super hungry.
But I had the biggest vomit last night after I thought I could eat some pasta.
I put like a creamy tomato sauce with it.
That was too much flavor, wasn't it?
Because it all just come back up.
I am starting to feel large.
And I know that I probably don't have a bump yet.
But I feel so bloated and just...
I've been out of breath a little bit.
But besides that, I've been feeling a lot better the last couple days.
We are going to our first ultrasound tomorrow, which I am really excited about.
And then we are going to tell our families.
So I feel like that would just be so nice.
And just to get it out...
I don't know.
My family are freaking crazy.
I literally went and hung out with my sister the other day because she just had a little boy.
And she asked if I was pregnant yet.
When are you having a baby?
Are you pregnant yet?
Something like that.
And I was like, oh, yeah.
And then that night we had dinner at my mom's house.
And my sisters were talking about their belly button piercings.
And I said, yeah, I took mine out like a while ago.
And my sister Amber was like, how long ago?
I was like, oh, like a few months.
And she's like, because she was trying to suss me out because she thought
if I was pregnant, I would take it out.
I was like, you little dirty dog.
And then my mom asked me again the same night.
I'm like, back off, you little vultures.
So look, they want me to be pregnant.
So I'm very excited to tell them that I am.
All right, I'm heading to the shops because I need some new clothes.
I am just so bloated.
My pants aren't doing up.
Everything feels uncomfortable.
My boobs are humongous.
I just want some nice flowy dresses and some stuff that I can wear to work as well.
So wish me luck.
So we had our scan this morning and all went well.
One baby growing well.
Estimated eight weeks, one day.
My app says I think eight weeks, four days.
So we are due in April and we've got some photos here.
There's a little bub there.
A little bit hard to see, but we got to see the heart beating as well, which is really exciting.
I've got a naturopath appointment in about half an hour.
I've told her that I'm pregnant.
But this is the first time we're like meeting up to discuss it all.
So I'm looking forward to that.
Today, I am nine weeks and four days.
The last week has definitely been better.
I have still had some days where I feel nauseous, but it's not every day.
So it's definitely just coming and going now.
I feel like that's the most annoying symptom.
Boobs are still really tender.
Nipples are just high beaming at all times.
And I'm just tired and my skin is pretty pimply.
But over the last couple of days, we have told our family that we are pregnant.
And it was just so nice to finally tell them and just feel the excitement.
So I will insert clips now of telling my family members.
We didn't actually get to film telling Clinton's mum, but she...
It was so funny.
We were at a cafe and we told her and she literally screamed like the workers were like...
And it was really sweet.
And she was crying.
She was just so excited.
And then when we went back to her house, she's like, come up with all these plans.
And it was just really sweet.
So we didn't get to film her reaction, but I do have everyone else's.
So yeah, let me show you.
How cute do you think our baby's going to be?
Oh!
What?
Are you serious?
Wow.
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
You're a friend.
You're not drinking, that's why you have a little bit of vodka?
Yeah.
What?
Don't drink it.
There's no vodka in there.
You can't touch it, just pretend.
Congrats, Clinton.
Thank you.
Let me see my grandbaby first.
Where is it?
Wow.
Very surprised.
It's a lot.
Here you go.
Oh, you got chicken! Oh, congratulations!
Are you excited?
Oh my goodness. Which way?
Oh, this way.
Just that little...
You're like, I don't know.
You're like, Ross.
It was a twin single.
No, confirmed just one baby.
Nine weeks today.
Oh my goodness, what a prank!
Oh, I'm so excited!
It's like mum's dream.
What is it?
I don't see it.
Oh, you got me!
Congratulations!
We were right the other day!
I know!
I know you're ready for it.
Congratulations!
When's this?
Um, 29 weeks.
Oh my god, you're alive!
Oh, that is so exciting!
Oh my god!
Isn't it crazy that I'll have my own baby
in seven months?
Are you pregnant?
Yay!
Are you really?
Is that why you took Ava?
No, it's not.
Oh, are you actually?
Oh my god.
Congratulations.
Thank you.
Oh my god, are you actually?
I don't have a test on me
or anything to show you.
How many months are you?
I'm nine weeks.
Oh my god.
Oh my goodness.
I'm going to have a cousin
so I'll have my very own little baby soon.
That's so weird.
I've got something to show you.
What, did you buy dogs?
Oh, that's exciting.
I'm pregnant!
Can you believe it?
That's very exciting.
I'm nine weeks.
Oh, so you've known for ages.
I've known, I found out
at about four weeks.
It's just a cute present.
I'll leave it for now.
Shut up.
Stop.
Are you serious?
I'm serious.
Nine weeks.
Shut up.
Oh my god.
There's a picture in there.
Oh my god.
You don't know who Scalaboy is.
Oh my god.
You're the last person because I couldn't get you out of here.
I couldn't get you here.
Oh my god.
Yay.
I've been thinking about it so much recently.
Stop, I love this.
Ten weeks and four days
today.
I feel okay.
Pretty much the same.
Still nauseous.
Still gagging. Still vomiting.
Really have not eaten much.
I'm eating but nothing
is nutritious.
I feel like a slob.
An actual slob.
I can't drink water.
I eat like...
I feel
so gross because usually I drink
two litres a day.
I've always got a water bottle on me.
I can barely drink
water.
I'm just doing what I'm doing to get through the days.
Symptom wise
boobs are still pretty sore.
Nipples
sore as ever.
Feeling just really
tired.
Exhausted.
All the time. I'm a pretty good napper though.
I do try and get in some naps.
My nausea has been hitting me a lot
more in the evenings now.
I've been okay during the days.
I feel like I can eat
small snacks, just constantly
snacking.
But then once it gets to
4.35pm
I feel rotten as...
I just need to lay down and
try and go to sleep because it's the only thing
that makes it come away. My acne is
still pretty bad.
I've been getting some big breakouts where I don't
usually get them.
Obviously, raging hormones and
not a very healthy diet will do that
to you. It's really hard to brush my teeth.
I'm a get all the way
to the back of my tongue kind of
teeth brusher.
I can't. It makes me gag.
I'll show you my belly. I don't know
if it's a bump
or if I'm just bloated
as anything.
I'm already a pretty bad
bloater and when I
bloat, I look pregnant.
That's just the way my belly sits.
Now I'm like, am I just bloated
or is this actually a bump
because my pants have been tight
for weeks.
I'm struggling to wear my normal clothes.
Then I'm like,
am I just putting on weight?
Because I'm eating like ----. Who knows?
This is my belly.
I feel like I'm...
I don't know. This is what I
look like when I'm bloated.
Who knows?
I don't know.
But I do feel like it doesn't really
go away.
There's my snacks on the table right there. Jats and salt
and vinegar chips. I need to book
another doctor's appointment to go over the
ultrasound results. I still haven't done that.
And then to talk about going
private or public. We're just going to go public.
And yeah, see what's next.
Another symptom
is I'm literally losing my breath.
Like, it's so
annoying.
And I'm usually like a speed walker.
Can't stand slow walkers.
Get out of my way. Places to be, people to see.
I'm just a fast walker.
And I can't.
I'm just out of breath.
I'm like so down, girlfriend.
Where are you going? So tomorrow we are
catching up with some of our close friends
and we're hoping to tell
them then. I'm really excited to tell them.
I feel like they're going to freak out.
Although I do feel like
Tenille's already onto me with the whole
boobs looking milky comment. Did I mention
that? If I didn't mention
that, I posted a photo on Instagram
the other week when I went up to Noosa with my
sister and I've always
had bigger boobs. But Tenille
replied to my story and said,
boobies looking milky.
She's
onto me. Because there are
a hundred different ways to say your boobs look big.
And she chose milky.
So I don't know. We'll see what
she says when I tell her.
So 11 weeks. One day today.
Had a big vomit last night.
And I feel so
sick today. But um, good
things. We told all
our friends and like everyone
that we wanted to tell in person
over the last couple days. So
that was really exciting. All our friends were
really excited for us and just
like shocked as well.
Which I like still
in my cell. And I did a question
to Tenille about her comment of the milky
titties and she said
no. Like she was just
saying that. I was like wow.
Um
so I'm just making some breakfast.
I've already had a bowl of cereal
um and a decaf
coffee and now I'm just having some toast.
I've got a doctor's appointment later to
I really don't know. Like I
haven't been doing much research. I've just been
trying to survive.
I feel like maybe after the first trimester
I'll actually like you know get in and
see what I need to do.
There's also like still this level of
anxiety. Like you know
I just want to make sure my baby is
okay and growing properly
and you know
everything's going to be okay. I can't help but
have these thoughts
in the back of my mind. But yeah
so. It's
quite an emotional
up and down.
Like a lot of emotions
but yes. What else?
I dream a lot anyway
but I've been having
very vivid and crazy
dreams every single night. Like
the stories change. There's like
ten different story lines in every dream
and everything is so
just vivid and
feels real.
It's kind of
annoying. I just want a peaceful sleep you know.
I had lunch yesterday with
Clinton's mum and a family friend
and she has a little boy and so she
gave us these
little converse.
They're so cute.
Like as if. Look how tiny
they are.
So cute. She said
she's got like a bunch of stuff that she can
give me so she's going to like
collect all that which will be great and I can
go through it. I'm hoping I can get some
anti-nausea
medication from the doctor today
because I'm really over this.
We'll see how it goes. 11 weeks
6 days and this has been
a rough week.
I vomited up my dinner last night and I just
vomited up my breakfast then.
Just feeling extremely nauseous.
I'm waiting for that
you know 12 week mark. People say
it gets better
but I just don't feel like
it's gonna. I was like from what I've been reading
a lot of people like I didn't start to feel better
until like 14, 16, 18 weeks
I'm like oh my god
how much longer can I do this?
The fatigue has
been like crazy as well.
The other night I slept for 11
hours and then later that day
had a 3 hour nap like
that's a lot of sleep.
I don't know if I've said this
but my hair has been oilier than
normal. I usually like wash it once a week
but now I have to wash it twice because it's just getting
gross on the roof. I'm feeling
bad that I haven't
uploaded to YouTube in like
over a month
and I've just left
no explanation. I'm just gone.
But I know once you guys see this
you'll understand. I am in the
middle of filming a vlog like it's been a few days
whenever I've got some energy just to
film a little bit so I can upload
something because I find the mornings
are a bit better for me lately like I feel
okay but once it gets to about mid days
when I start to feel nauseous and then I just
need to lie down and sleep and
not move.
Hello! Officially 13
weeks and 3 days. I am
in the second trimester. I
made it. Oh my god
so the last week
I'll give you a little round up of week
12 and
then I think I will
kind of end this
vlog here. Still
nauseous. Still vomiting.
Still very tired
and just out of breath
like crazy.
We had another
scan last week. Let me
get the images. We are still waiting
on the results so
the doctor from the
imaging place has to do up a
report that goes along with
some blood tests I got as well and then that gets
sent to the GP because this
test they measure
like some fluid on the back of the neck
which gives you your
like possibilities for your
baby having down syndrome so I'm still
a little bit anxious like to get these results
and just to make sure that the baby
is okay but it was so
cool seeing
the baby in the ultrasound like it's a full
on baby. Oh my god. Like full on
head, body, legs
as if! Look
at that. Oh my god.
It actually ended up going for quite a while
because the baby was
face down so like it's face was towards my back
and as soon as she started scanning
she was like oh usually we like the baby to be up
the other way for this
so like they had me rolling side to side like trying
to get the baby to move. The baby wouldn't move
but it was really cool because it was like
like wiggling in
there and you can see all it's spine
and like it's brain like it was
so cool. So then
another lady come in and had a try
as well. We had to do an internal ultrasound
too. The baby still wouldn't move so they
had me like running up and down on the spot. I had to
go for a walk and get some
food and then when I come back
they finally were able to get the images
that they needed. But yeah it was just really nice
to actually see
like there's a full on baby in there
I don't know it just blows me away and it kind of
puts into perspective why
I've been feeling so sick. Like this
baby has grown so
fast. Like they go
from just being a tiny little speck
to a full on baby. Like it just blows my mind
it blows my mind. During the
week I had some of my friends come
over and they bought me some beautiful
gifts so let me show you those.
So from Blossom and Pear
I got this
journal. I love
journaling and this is a
pregnancy journal so it
goes through like each week. You can
write down your thoughts and then
at the back here it's
got yeah like memorable moments
or your baby's
info when it's born
appointments
like heaps of little things like just
note pages. It is so
beautiful. I love a nice
journal so that was such
a beautiful gift. And then
here. Oh my god
look at this. So perfect.
I wasn't sure how
I was going to announce the baby either
so this is like just what I needed.
So cute.
So I got some little eye masks for me
and then two little outfits
here. Just white
ones because we don't know the sex yet.
Look at that. Oh my
god so little
and like the blue and pink in here.
I also couldn't help myself
and I bought this book yesterday
when I was in Kmart.
I love looking at the books in Kmart.
I always buy them for my niece
and this one I just
thought was so beautiful
and it like I was literally
like holding back tears when I was reading it
in the shop. Hormones.
So if you watch the vlog I put up
I said I was just cleaning out this room
because it's a junk room but I'm cleaning
out this room because it's going to be
the baby's room. So I've still got a bit
of work to do as you can see.
And this is like
my little collection of baby
goods so far which is like two things. I really haven't
bought anything, done anything.
I really need to get my finger out.
But I also had my first
midwife appointment yesterday
which was really good.
We just went over like all my medical
history and
just kind of like the plan moving forward with
ultrasounds and appointments and things like that.
Also at the doctor's yesterday he finally
gave me a script for
Maxilon for this nausea because it
has not, like it's still just
hanging around. I was hoping like
you know that 13 weeks I'd
wake up feeling fresh as a daisy.
Yeah I think it's going to stick around a little bit longer
and like I've been through
like I pretty much made it all the way
through that terrible nausea
just putting up with it.
So I don't even know how much of the Maxilon
I'll use but I took one yesterday
and I was able to drink three glasses
of water. Like I scald three glasses
of water. I have not drank that much water
in weeks. But yeah
I just, I can't believe like this
is really happening. Like I'm in the second trimester.
Let me do
a little bump date.
I don't know like
again, I don't know
it's hard. It's like am I just bloated?
Is it just extra weight I've put on?
Or is it a bump?
Who knows.
My belly.
But the baby is the size of a lemon so
little baby.
I also brought
some maternity bras the other day.
Why haven't I been wearing these
my whole life anyway?
So comfortable. But yeah that is
it. This is the first trimester
done and dusted.
I am so
excited to share this with you guys
and I feel like it'll just obviously explain a lot
as to why I've been
so absent.
And I really hope
that this kind of helps anyone
who is having a bit more of a
rough time during their pregnancy
because I have watched
a lot of vlogs and TikToks
and whatever and it is such
a blessing to be pregnant
so I feel like people don't really want
to complain about
it. Is even complaining though?
It's more like venting. I don't know.
I wish there were more videos of people
being really honest
about how
they're feeling because I know that would help me
hearing someone else say
obviously they're so grateful and happy to be pregnant
but they feel like a piece of ----
because that is
exactly
how I've been feeling.
So I
hope no one watches this
and takes it as I'm ungrateful or
super complaining
or whatever. I just wanted to be really
open, honest
like I try
to be in all my videos really
whether it comes to a makeup review or
a vlog. I always try
to be really open and honest. So yeah, I hope
that this was maybe
helpful for someone and
you don't have to feel alone in feeling
so terrible during that
first trimester. Let me
know if there is any other pregnancy
related videos you want to see. I really don't know
how much I'm going to do. This is more
of a beauty channel. I may incorporate some
pregnancy stuff into more
vlog style videos.
I really don't know. But yeah, if you
have any questions, leave me a
comment below. Come and follow me on Instagram
because I'll probably do more
pregnancy related updates over there
like especially bump updates and
stuff. But yeah, thank you all for watching.
If you enjoyed, make sure you give it a thumbs up and if you're
new here, take a look around. Consider subscribing.
As I said, I usually do beauty
related content.
I think that's all I have to
say. I'm still just
as in much shock
as I was at the very
beginning of this video.
Also, if you're wondering about
Clinton's feelings, he is
so happy and
has been just taking
such good care
of me. Like still just making me laugh
and making me feel better about
being sick. He
just hates being on camera so
you will probably not see
him. He really hates
it. But yeah, he's been taking good care of me.
Alright, that is it. I'm out.
Bye!
