Franz Schubert Moment Musical Op. 94 No. 3 (D780) in F Minor
Nenad Leonart playing the third Moment Musical of Franz Schuberts Moments Musicaux Op. 94 D780 in F Minor
The Schubert Moments Musicaux are some of the most refined musical pieces with straightforward ideas and definitely amazingly beautiful! One of my all-time favorite, the Moment Musical 3, is a piece I imagined many different and very interesting stories to... Also known as the "air russe", the musical moment reminds of many of Schuberts dances with melodies sounding beautifully poetic.
This performance with a Schubert musical moment on a Yamaha C3 grand piano was recorded in my former practicing studio, where I used to spend hours preparing for my studies and concerts. The video here was filmed a few days before a competition. Also definitely worth checking out are the recordings of this piece by Schubert from Vladimir Horowitz and also David Fray! Horowitz was always my favourite pianist, and Fray and I apparently used to have the same hairstyle, which is cool, because we play very differently.

Six moments musicaux (by Franz Schubert)
Six moments musicaux, D. 780 (Op. 94) is a collection of six short pieces for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert. The movements are as follows:
Moderato in C major
Andantino in A♭ major
Allegro moderato in F minor (ends in F major)
Moderato in C♯ minor
Allegro vivace in F minor (ends in F major)
Allegretto in A♭ major (ends on an open octave in an A♭ minor context)
Along with the Impromptus, they are among the most frequently played of all Schubert's piano music, and have been recorded many times. No. 3 in F minor has been arranged by Leopold Godowsky and others.
It has been said that Schubert was deeply influenced in writing these pieces by the Impromptus, Op. 7, of Jan Václav Voříšek (1822).
They were published by Leidesdorf in Vienna in 1828, under the title "Six Momens [sic] musicals [sic]". The correct French forms are now usually used – moments (instead of momens), and musicaux (instead of musicals). The sixth number was published in 1824 in a Christmas album under the title Les plaintes d'un troubadour.
