Countryside Slow Life / Peaceful Everyday Routines / Spring Flowers & Herbs / Lambs #silentvlog
Winter has slowly and gently transitioned into spring. Days are warmer and the garden is donning her green coat again.
The ranunculus bulbs that I planted earlier have their beautiful flowers on display right now and I am delighted to see them doing so well.
On the farm taking care of all the animals make up a good percentage of each day.
I’m always drying some herbs and early in the season is by far the best time to do that. Later on the pests and extreme temperatures become too much of a problem.
63. “Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant.”
- Robert Louis Stevenson.
“Therefore don’t be afraid, you are of more value than many sparrows.”
Matthew 10:31 (World English Bible)
“Time is never wasted when you use it to create a better environment for your family and for others. Home is a place where busyness is proper, called for, and desperately needed. Don’t neglect to busy yourself with your homemaking.” —Elizabeth George
As always, thank you for watching. May you dwell in peace and safety.

“As the years pass, I am coming more and more to understand that it is the common, everyday blessings of our common everyday lives for which we should be particularly grateful. They are the things that fill our lives with comfort and our hearts with gladness -- just the pure air to breathe and the strength to breath it; just warmth and shelter and home folks; just plain food that gives us strength; the bright sunshine on a cold day; and a cool breeze when the day is warm.”
― Laura Ingalls Wilder, Writings to Young Women from Laura Ingalls Wilder: On Wisdom and Virtues

*****I’m no expert. I give my opinion based upon my own experience and on what I learn from others. You should be very careful when using herbs and I advise you to always do some research on how they interact with conventional chronic medications and what there side effects are.
