Slow living moments here in the rural countryside. Beautiful nature scenery and nature sounds from this summer season. We had a wonderful rainy season so far this year and we are grateful for the relief that it brought after a few years of drought.

My garden is like an overgrown jungle. I'm exasperated and overjoyed, all at the same time. We sowed a lot of sunflowers. The views were a joy to behold and it attracted quite a lot of birds and pollinators. My zinnias did not disappoint me at all this season. They just keep going and the colors are beautiful.

It is also such a relief to know there will be enough feed for the livestock this coming winter. Furthermore, the baby chicks are growing fast (they are teenagers now) and I will soon be looking for new homes for some of them.
