周璇小姐是中國最早期的歌影兩棲明星， 在她近20年的演藝生涯中，接拍了40多部影片。這首歌是由周璇主演兼主唱1946年經典電影《長相思》的插曲，這首歌還是由兩位音樂界巨擘: 有“神童”稱號的江南才子范煙橋先生作詞，“歌王”之聲的黎錦光老師作曲，配器記譜是本場音樂會指揮 Matthew DePasquale。

Miss Zhou Xuan was the earliest singer in China to cross over to film-making. In her career as an actor for almost 20 years, she cast in over 40 motion pictures. This song was from a 1946 classic film “The Long Longing” in which she cast the main character and also recorded the theme song. The creators of this song were two giants in China’s music history. One was a “child prodigy” from South China named Fan Yanqiao, and the other was the “Pop King” Mr. Li Jinguang. The instrumental arrangement was done by the director of this concert Mr. Matthew DePasquale.
