If you have ever searched for information on the internet about any field in life, especially health, you will definitely find a lot of scientific studies that have different conclusions when trying to explain a certain phenomenon in life.
For example, there are studies that say that fat and animal fat are the main causes of heart disease, but there are also other studies that say that high sugar and trans fat foods are the main cause.
So how do we know which conclusion is right and which conclusion is wrong?
The correctness in science depends on many different factors, from the number of people involved in the study, the method of collecting and analyzing data, to the methods used to explain the phenomena in the study process.
But in this video, I will not go deep into analyzing the above aspects, but will focus on another point of view, less specialized and easier to understand, so that you can freely discuss in the comment section below.
Specifically, almost 100% of scientific research depends on 5 aspects of humans, which are taste, smell, smell, smell, smell, and smell.
The above aspects are extremely wonderful components for you to explore the world, but they can only reflect a very, very small angle of reality that we are living in.
For example, if we compare between humans and other animals, then from the number of cells in a group that help recognize color to the level of lightness and different light waves,
humans are almost no match for 7-color fish or 6-stone birds.
And if we talk about hearing, human ears can only hear sounds with frequencies from 20 to 20,000 Hz,
and the feeling of the sound of each person is different, depending a lot on the shape of the ear as well as the location of the receiver.
Therefore, depending almost 100% on human senses to carry out scientific research will gradually lead to unnecessary errors and will only reflect a very small angle of the nature of the problem.
This has been shown very clearly in recent years when the scientific world has to face a crisis called the Replication Crisis,
when up to 70% of the 1,500 scientists fail to determine the exact level of scientific research that has been done before.
Therefore, having complete faith in what is cool is science that does not need to be verified is a very dangerous and reckless thing.
Speaking of which, surely many of you will feel confused and lost, but don't worry,
because science is just like humans or all other activities in the universe,
they will always be improved and constantly changing to be more suitable for living conditions at all times of human development.
Specifically, humans are currently improving themselves with modern machines such as microscopes, thermometers or ultrasonic sensors
to enhance the sensitivity of five senses as well as increase accuracy in the process of collecting and analyzing data.
So, instead of looking at the scientific conclusion as the ultimate truth,
you should have a more open mind and frequently ask questions with exactly what we were sure was right.
And when faced with a phenomenon in life, be ready to open your heart to listen with exactly the perspectives of society, religion,
so that you are not blinded by the definitions of science as well as have a more comprehensive view of life and the world around you.
In conclusion, the factors that make science have a great impact on the world today
are its high application and a system that collects, analyzes and checks data in detail.
But just like other human activities, this field is always being upgraded and constantly improving
to help better explain the phenomena in life.
Therefore, you should not feel too bothered when the scientific knowledge we collect is denied,
but read, analyze objectively with exactly the opposite opinions,
and try to listen and open your heart to look at the problems from many different perspectives
to be able to give yourself a conclusion that you think is the most reasonable.
