The second installment of the Kindness Is Cool Video Awards is open now! From now until December 31st, 2024, look around you to record kindness and good deeds from individuals, groups, or organizations. Nominate them by submitting videos with the hashtag #KindnessIsCool on GanJingWorld.com. The video creators and featured heroes in the submissions will have the chance to win a $10,000 grand prize together, and be featured on a New York Time Square Billboard.

Gan Jing World invites video creators to capture acts of kindness around them and in their communities through their lenses, inspiring others along the way. The video creators and the individuals, groups, or organizations featured in the submissions have the opportunity to share the $10,000 Gold Award. Additionally, there is one silver award and ten bronze awards, recognizing outstanding videos that promote kindness.

This year’s theme will add an extra layer of encouraging participants to look around them, discover and record kindness and good deeds, whether by individuals or organizations. By recognizing kindness, we can pay it forward and uplift the hearts and minds of many.

How to Participate
1. Sign up on Gan Jing World.
2. Create videos about kindness, then post the content to Gan Jing World with the event hashtags to be automatically entered into the contest.
3. Share your work and spread the message of #KindnessIsCool far and wide to encourage others to share kindness.
4. Participants can submit unlimited entries during the event, however, only one (1) entry per participant (channel) will be considered for one (1) prize in each category.
Prizes
- Gold Award: The winning video creator and the featured individual, group, or organization will share a $10,000 cash prize together. The video creator and the featured party (including individuals, groups, or organizational units) will each receive $5,000.
- Silver Award: 1 winner, receiving $1,000 and a certificate.
- Bronze Award: 10 winners, receiving $500 and a certificate.
The winning videos have the opportunity to be showcased on the big screen at Times Square, New York.
Also, you can also use the special short effects of “PURITANG” in your posts for another chance at a bonus gift. The top 10 participants with the most likes will receive a gift from PURITANG!

Judging Criteria
For the video awards, entries will be judged on creativity, quality, aesthetic value, storytelling, and popularity.

Prize Claiming
Finalists must contact the organizers within one month after the announcement of the shortlist through email at [email protected].
Event Rules
- Entries must be submitted within the event duration (March 15, 2024 to December 31, 2024).
- Entries must be original and not infringe on any trademark or copyright claims.
- Entries must be appropriate and free from offensive or harmful content. Gan Jing World reserves the right to exclude entries that conflict with the principles of GanJingWorld.com and this event.
- Entry into the #KindnessIsCool Awards constitutes your acceptance of the Event Rules.
- Contest enrollment is automatic upon posting video content with the hashtags #KindnessIsCool.
- Entrants must possess the exclusive rights to posted entries and are responsible for having obtained any necessary permission from the subjects shown in the entries and the organization to which it applies, in accordance with applicable law.
- Finalists will be notified and will need to provide proof of membership in the participating organization (satisfying requirements such as organization email, teacher or staff card, etc.) and other necessary documents.
- If any prize winners are determined ineligible, the prize will be awarded to the next qualifying participant in place for that category.
- If a winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts have been made to do so, Gan Jing World reserves the right to select the next best entry.
- Gan Jing World’s decision will be final. Any attempt by an entrant to influence the result or subvert the contest will lead to immediate disqualification.
- By participating in this contest, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by the Official Rules, Terms of Use, Monetization Policies and Privacy Policy without exception.
