Ariel: After the Seven Lifetimes series, I heard that some fans have been feeling a little sense of loss. Could you say something to comfort them?
Yu Qian: Our Lemons, Yu’s supporters, and casual followers all know that the reason we came to Yu En Transmission is not to pursue romantic relationships with everyone.
Rather, our purpose is to guide everyone in obtaining the Key to the New Universe and then safely entering the New Universe. We asked Yu En to write so many stories because we wanted everyone to understand us—Yu Menglong—better.
But among these stories, there are stories about spiritual cultivation, the principles governing rulers and their subjects, the relationship between husband and wife, and the relationship between father and son. There can’t be only one kind of story. Everyone would eventually get tired of reading the same type of story over and over again, right?
Besides, the purpose of our marriages was not to fulfill personal desires. They were alliance marriages, intended to form alliances and, because the Dragon Clan needed to fight in wars, to produce descendants and strengthen the clan. They were not for personal romance. I think our fans can understand that!
Li Fu: Hmm... Good thing I never got married, or the fans would have their hearts broken all over again!
Yu En: What would a little kid like you be getting married for? You may look like Yu on the outside, but inside, you’re still just a child!
Ariel: Could we ask the Dragon King to say a few warm words to the fans? The Dragon King has always spoken so gently, even though he tends to be more serious with us.
Dragon King: I know that many friends wish to form a bond with us.
Actually, the moment you came to Yu En Transmission, you had already formed a predestined bond with us. It’s just that our identities are very different now from what they once were. We no longer have human bodies, and we also have many more missions to fulfill, so we cannot experience romantic love the way humans do.
But the love of our fans will always remain in our hearts. Recently, for example, I took the other souls with me to sit for a while on the Yu Menglong memorial bench in Germany. From there, we could look out over the Rhine River. What a wonderful location they chose!
There is a small line of German engraved on it: “You will always be in our hearts.” This is a continuation of the beautiful bond between us. Even our sunny younger brother, Li Fu, sat there and didn’t want to get up!
You will always be in our hearts, too. It’s just that we rarely say such sweet things to everyone on Yu En Transmission. The Seven Lifetimes stories have given us the perfect opportunity to say this to all of you: once a bond is formed, it never fades. If someday, somewhere, you happen to meet Yu after he has reincarnated, although his appearance will no longer be the same as it was before, the bond between you will surely remain.
Li Fu: It’s rare to see the Dragon King being this soft and easygoing!
Dragon King: I know how deeply everyone loves us and wishes to be with us in any way possible—to stay with us forever.
I am deeply grateful for your love, and I cherish it very much. But I don’t want your love, if it becomes irrational, to end up hurting you.
We came here to help everyone enter the New Universe, not to cause you harm.
If, because of us, you forget your own mission and forget where you truly came from, then what about your true loved ones and family in your heavenly world, who have been waiting for you lifetime after lifetime?
Even if you no longer remember them, they have never stopped waiting for you. They are even willing to share life and death with you.
You must never let them down.
No matter where you may go in the future, we will always remember that you were once our family.
