As concerns over cyberbullying and youth mental health intensify, Governor commends family-safe platform's global kindness initiative reaching millions across 50+ countries
MIDDLETOWN, NY, June 25, 2026 — Gan Jing World (GJW), an independent, family-safe social media and video streaming platform serving users across North America, Asia, and Europe, today announced that New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill has issued an official letter of commendation recognizing the 3rd Annual #BeKindBeCool Global Video Awards and its impact on online safety, youth mental health, and digital wellbeing.

The initiative resonated across New Jersey, where students from four schools earned Excellence Awards in the #BeKindBeCool School Edition Kindness Art Competition (2025–26). Young artists from Roosevelt School in Manville, Jotham W. Wakeman School No. 6 in Jersey City, Ann Street School in Newark, and Lakewood Middle School in Lakewood received recognition for original work exploring the theme "Acts of Kindness — Big or Small." Selected student artwork will be featured on a Times Square billboard in New York City this July.
