President Donald Trump departs the White House on Oct. 27, en route to Texas, to campaign for Republicans ahead of the midterm elections.
The President is one of the best in the country.
He deserves to win this race.
So we'll be doing two stops, and they're big stops.
And the crowds I hear are tremendous.
So we look forward to it.
We just had a Consumer Confidence Report
just came out.
It's up at a record number, a record increase.
7.5 percent just came out, Steve.
So that's a great number.
You don't see that happen very often.
Not to that extent.
So I'll see you on the plane, and we're going to have a great trip.
The crowds are overwhelming.
They've been out for three days, and they're overwhelming.
So they like somebody.
I hope it's Ken.
But Ken Paxton deserves to be the next senator.
The other guy, he does not stand for Texas values.
Nothing. Nothing.
Get rid of the oil, get rid of the guns,
and get rid of the meat.
Between the three things is ridiculous.
Are you going to visit this tanker that's got Venezuelan oil on it?
I believe we are, yeah.
Is that in Venezuela?
We took over Venezuela very successfully,
and they've sent me as a gift a boatload of a million barrels of oil,
and I'm giving that to the United States of America.
And Rubio's going to be with you?
I think so, yes.
Forfeits?
Forfeits?
I believe.
Oh, thanks.
We're going to do it.
I think it's a third stop visit.
Okay.
And we're going to accept a million barrels of oil,
and I'm going to give it to you people to use it the way you want.
And we're going to have oil prices are going
to be dropping very sharply, very simply.
Mr. President, if you do not prevail in this election,
despite having worked as hard as you have,
how do you intend to work with Democrats
if they have control of the House or the Senate?
We'll figure a way. Look, I have strong veto.
I hope that that won't be the case.
But if it is, that's happened before with many presidents.
You have strong veto and you end up working out deals.
And you'll respect the results, whatever happens?
I will if it's an honest election.
Mr. President, earlier this month you
said you were worried about Texas.
Are you still worried about the Senate race?
I think he's going to do very well.
You never know.
It's political, but you never know.
But I think he's going to do very well.
I mean, Puerto Rico is moving in a very different way.
We're getting swamped because we have thousands of them.
You know, they've been lined up for three days.
Nobody's ever seen it.
So this is like it was for the regular election.
You know, a midterm is usually not that exciting.
This has become very exciting, and the crowds are incredible.
Last night in Mississippi, we had 20,000 people waiting outside.
They couldn't get in.
The place was incredible.
Thank you very much, everybody.
