Trump Heads to G7 Summit in France; Oil Hits 3-month Low as US, Iran Reach Peace Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump is heading to France on June 15 for the G7 summit, just hours after announcing a deal with Iran. Leaders of the world’s seven largest advanced economies are meeting from June 15 to June 17 in the French spa town of Évian-les-Bains to discuss global trade, immigration, geopolitical conflicts, and other key issues.

Oil prices slipped to a three-month low on Monday after U.S. President Donald Trump and Iran's deputy foreign minister said they had reached an initial deal to end the war and to resume traffic through the Strait of Hormuz.
