To close our school recital, all students join together to recite a timeless selection from the Book of Poetry (Shijing 《诗经》), one of the oldest and most treasured collections of classical Chinese literature. The piece they present depicts how people warmly welcome friends with good food, wine, and music—celebrating the enduring values of love and friendship. Through this collective recitation, our students proudly demonstrate their Chinese language skills and showcase Clearview’s unique Mandarin immersion program. Most importantly, it reflects our school’s philosophy of Inspiring Young Minds with Ancient Wisdom, bridging the richness of tradition with the spirit of today’s learners.
