Trump to Sign Order to Start Dismantling Education Dept; Pentagon Appeals Trans Military Ban Block

President Trump will sign an executive order on Thursday to officially start the dismantling of the Department of Education. Entirely closing the department requires an act of congress. But the President will direct the Secretary of Education Linda McMahon to take "all necessary steps to facilitate the closure of the Department of Education and return education authority to the states."
