Biden Hails Economic Record; Syria Rebel Leader Vow to Pursue Officials Assad Officials

U.S. President Joe Biden touted his administration's economic record and warned against a reprise of Republican "trickle-down economics" during Donald Trump's second term in what could be his final speech on the economy at Washington's Brookings Institution on Tuesday.

Armed rebels who overthrew President Bashar al-Assad's regime are forming a transition government. It's leader vows to pursue Assad officials who were involved in the torture of Syrians. He said his transition government will publish a list of officials involved in war crimes and extradite them back to Syria.
