Biden Announces Approved Israel-Hezbollah Ceasefire Deal; Trump Documents Case Dismissed

President Biden announced that Israel and Hezbollah have agreed to a cease fire that will go into effect at 4 a.m. local time (today at 9 p.m. ET.) Under the deal, Israel must evacuate Lebanese territory within 60 days.

The 11th Circuit Court today dismissed special counsel Jack Smith’s appeal of President-Elect Trump’s classified documents case, bringing an end to the federal case. Smith says he asked for the dismissal because of a Department policy to not prosecute sitting presidents.

Nuclear Tensions continue between Russia and the West. Moscow and Washington today were warning each other to not engage in nuclear activity.
