Harris and Trump Hold Dueling Events in Midwest; October Jobs Report Worst Since December 2020

With 4 days left until Election Day, former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris make dueling appearances in the Midwest. Trump will rally in Warren, Michigan and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, while Harris will hold campaign events in Janesville, Little Chute, and West Allis, Wisconsin.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the last jobs report before next week’s presidential election, showing the U.S. economy added just 12,000 new jobs in October. This represented the smallest monthly employment gain since December 2020.
