Here's Tiffany Meyer.
Good evening and thank you for joining us tonight. Federal and local
authorities are investigating two ballot drop boxes that were set on fire early
this morning. The incidents took place in Portland, Oregon and nearby
Vancouver, Washington. Police in Portland report that an incendiary
device was placed in a ballot box. The fire damaged three ballots and the rest
were protected by an internal fire suppressant. Police in Vancouver say a
ballot box caught fire from a suspicious device placed next to it. The
fire destroyed hundreds of ballots. Local election officials are advising
voters who use the ballot box after 11 a.m. Saturday to check their ballot
status. The drop boxes are located about 15 miles apart. Authorities say
there's evidence that the two fires are connected. They've also identified a
suspect vehicle. Both Oregon and Washington are vote by mail states,
meaning every registered voter receives a ballot by mail. The ballot box in
Vancouver is in Washington's third congressional district, where one of the
most competitive House races in the country is taking place. The FBI is
looking into both incidents with the help of local law enforcement.
Early voting in New York, New Jersey and Michigan kicked off over the weekend. A
record breaking number of ballots were cast in the three states. One of them
is a battleground bellwether that could set the tone for the presidential
race nationwide. Entities Molina Weiss Cup reports. New York is a state to
watch for early hints into the congressional balance of power. That's
because it's where several seats were flipped in 2022, giving Republicans a
slight edge and New York. We made history when we fired Nancy Pelosi once
and for all and flip those five congressional seats. We need to make
history again. That task is now more difficult in the blue state with the
race for president sitting at the top of the ticket, which is sure to bring
out more voters. And analysts say the battleground of Michigan is a good
place to gauge how candidates are faring with swing voters nationwide. We are
truly a 50 50 states. Can you, though, fail to appeal to the kind of voters
there in Michigan and still win the rest of the country? I don't know,
right? Because if you fail to appeal to some of the things that Michigan cares
a lot about, that means for sure you're failing to appeal to Wisconsin and
you're failing to appeal to Pennsylvania. With Trump and Harris at
a tie in Michigan, the battleground is expected to come down to the wire. We
just know it's gonna be close. All the polls have consistently shown that this
is a neck and neck race. Either it's tied or plus or minus one. It's a state
not only with implications at the top of the ticket, but it's key to
unlocking a solid majority for either party in Congress. Republicans are
eyeing Democrat seats to make up for losses elsewhere, while candidates vie
for an open Senate seat. Democrat Alyssa Slotkin is hopeful a so called
secret women's vote will propel her to victory. We have women in red areas who
are not telling their husbands how they vote, who are not talking about with
their friends and family, but who are gonna vote for Democratic ticket,
right? She's leading her Republican challenger in polling with the election
now, just eight days away, reporting from Washington D. C. Molina Weiss Cup
in T. D. News. Just a little more than a week before Election Day, more than 45
million people have already cast their ballots across the country. That's
according to data from the University of Florida's election lab. Both
presidential candidates have been urging supporters to vote early in recent
weeks. Democrats had a lead over Republicans in early voting during the
2020 presidential election, but conservatives are closing that gap this
time around. In key swing states like Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina,
registered Republicans have so far cast more votes than Democrats. Party
affiliation doesn't necessarily indicate voters choice in this election
as they have the option to split their ticket. Entities. Sam Wong was out on
the National Mall in Washington D. C. To find out how many people are choosing
to vote early. I'm gonna start with your party affiliation and where you're
I'm from Minneapolis, and my party affiliation has been changing. I've
been Republican my whole life, and I'm going away from that Kansas, and I'm
Republican. I'm from Wisconsin Democratic Chicago, Illinois, Republican
Party. Close by live here in Maryland, and I'm a registered Democrat. Chicago,
Illinois. I live in Arizona right now. I'm an independent voter. I'm a strong,
moderate Democrat, and I'm originally from Los Angeles, but now I live in
Virginia. Have you already voted? If not, by what means do you plan on voting
this year? No, I like to vote in person day of mail in ballot at the polls in
person. I like voting the day of. So I have an early ballot. I'll turn it in
on Election Day. Soon as we get back from Washington, we're gonna vote early
just to be safe. Is there any reason for you to vote on the day of the
election? Oh, just feel like it's a fun little holiday. Kind of. I really like
that. It's a kind of day to celebrate the community that I'm part of. I
always show up at the polls and vote in person. I go as a family with my
daughter, my son, my mother in law, my uncle, a bride of us. They're all in
the same neighborhood, and we walk over and vote together. It's a tradition. Why
voting early? Just to be safe. I don't know how long it's gonna be. It seems
like the turnout's gonna be huge, so we want to make sure our votes counted. I
have my ballot already. It's filled out. I just I'm here right now, and my
ballots at home. I'll turn it in as soon as possible, but it'll probably
happen last minute. Chose this several years ago for convenience with work
getting to the polls, and it just continued to do so. And what do you
think about the idea of early voting? Are you against that? Or are you for
that? 100% for it. I can physically able go vote, and I have no problem
with that. Although I fear that on Election Day, I might be sick. I might
pull a pull a strain of my neck or something and not be able to make it.
It used to be a day where everybody votes on Election Day. If you're
voting, if you're counting votes after the election, come on. Why? Why are we
doing that to cheat? I trust it, but I am 100% feel like it should be voter

President Biden cast his early vote in Wilmington, Delaware. Today, he spent
the weekend in his home state before returning to the White House. Biden
encouraged voters to head to the polls and said he's confident that Vice
President Kamala Harris will win. Biden also talked to reporters briefly and
commented on the Trump rally yesterday and Middle East issues. Mr President,
can you come here and comment on former President Trump's rally yesterday? He
was saying
a bunch of stuff about immigrants.
It's simply embarrassing beneath any pressure, but that's what we're gonna
do. That's why this election is so important. You know, most presidential
scholars I've spoken to talk about a single most consequential thing about
the president's character,
character.
Stabbing question every time. Mr President, Egypt has a new proposal to
cease fire two days. Ceasefire between Israel and Hamas. What do you think
about? I'm my staff is talking right now. I'm gonna get out here, getting a
secure line.
We need a ceasefire. We should end this war.
Prime Minister Netanyahu stressed that negotiation under fire is better than
negotiation during ceasefire. What do you think about that?
I'll reserve that for my discussion. Mr President,
I would see you with Vice President Harris. But also, do you wish more
candidates like, uh, some what Rochester were using you as a surrogate? Well,
I've done a lot of surrogacy, and the fact of the matter is that I've also
had to be president at the same time. I've been all over the battleground
states. I've been campaigning, but I also have to continue my job as
president. Former President Trump courting voters in the key battleground
state of Georgia. It comes as debate continues over his Sunday rally at
Madison Square Garden. Entity's Iris Tao has more from Atlanta. As early
voting has kicked off here in Georgia, former President Trump is spending one
of its final days of campaign appealing to voters in this key swing state.
Earlier on Monday, Trump spoke at a national face summit in Atlanta,
appealing to religious voters. And on Monday night, he's speaking here at a
rally at the Georgia Tech University. There's a lot of students and young
voters here, and the pre program speakers are telling the massive
turnout at the Madison Square Garden rally on Sunday night. There was
hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers that turned out in Manhattan and
supported President Trump, and they filled Madison Square Garden. But in
New York City rally is facing controversies as Vice President Conway
Harris's campaign is highlighting a joke by comedian at the rally that it
says is racist. I think last night Donald Trump's event in Madison Square
Garden really highlighted a point that I've been making throughout this
campaign. Meanwhile, Trump's running mate, Senator J. D. Vance, responded
on Monday, calling on the Harris campaign to focus more on issues that
he says the American people actually care about. I haven't seen it. I'm not
going to comment on the specifics of the joke, but I think that we have to
stop getting so offended at every little thing in the United States of
America. I'm just I'm so over it. And on Tuesday morning, Trump is holding a
press conference at Mar-a-Lago before traveling to another key battleground
state, Pennsylvania, reporting from Atlanta, Iris Tao and PD News. Israeli
forces launched their much anticipated attack on Iran over the weekend.
Meanwhile, Israel reported a significant discovery after they raided a hospital
in the Gaza Strip. Entities Jason Perry has the latest on Monday. Israeli
forces said they raided a hospital in the northern Gaza Strip and detained
about 100 suspected Hamas terrorists during the operation. They also reported
finding intelligence documents and weapons inside the hospital. Israel said
they enabled civilians to leave the hospital before conducting the raid on
Friday. Israel also reported helping activate an additional generator for the
hospital to maintain electricity and oxygen for the patients. The Hamas run
health ministry, on the other hand, said that no Hamas terrorists were at the
hospital. However, Israeli forces released video of an interrogation of
an ambulance driver from that same hospital, and he was asked about the
presence of Hamas at the hospital.
Hamas military operatives are present. They are in the courtyards at the gates
of the buildings in the offices in the offices of Kamal Adwan Hospital. They
operate ambulances to transport their wounded military operatives and to
transport them for their missions and this instead of using the ambulances for
the benefit of civilians. Meanwhile, near Tel Aviv, Israeli police said one
person was killed and about 40 were injured when a semi truck rammed into
people at a bus stop near a military base. Police said an armed civilian
quote neutralized the truck driver with gunfire. Israelis have faced numerous
car ramming attacks in recent years. Also over the weekend, Israeli forces
carried out their much anticipated attack on Iran. Israel Defense Forces
spokesperson Daniel Hagari made the announcement early Saturday morning in
response to months of continuous attacks from the regime in Iran against the
state of Israel. Right now, the Israel Defense Forces is conducting precise
strikes on military targets in Iran, and hours later, he said the attack had
been completed. We have attacked precisely and targeted targets in
different areas of Iran, including areas with manufacturing facilities that Iran
used to launch missiles toward the state of Israel over the past year. At the
same time, we have attacked Iran's surface to air missile arrays and air
capabilities, which were designed to limit Israel's air action to operate in
Iran. And on Monday, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said Iran will use,
quote, all tools available and responding to Israel's attack. Jason

The U. S. And NATO today confirming that Russia is training many more North
Korean troops than previously known. This is increasing tensions in Korea as
well. The north now accuses South Korea of flying drones across the border.
Entities. International correspondent Arian Paz Dar has the latest, starting
with an update on the battlefield in Ukraine.
At least five people are dead and five more injured in Ukraine's curse on
that's according to Ukrainian officials who say Russia attacked the city
throughout Sunday. A post office clerk died immediately after a building was
hit in the afternoon. Another residential high rise building caught
fire later in the evening, taking another two lives. Russia allegedly
attacked Keith and car keep as well. No fatalities have been reported in those
cities. Now, these attacks come as the U. S. And NATO confirmed that Russia is
training 10,000 North Korean troops much more than previously known. Now, the
Pentagon says it has serious concerns that those soldiers will be fighting
against Ukraine. In that case, the North Korean troops will be seen as targets
and come under fire. The Pentagon says it would allow Ukraine to use American
weapons against North Korean troops. A spokesperson says the U. S. Won't add
any new restrictions, and the State Department on Monday also confirmed that
the troops are moving closer to Ukraine, but it didn't specify exactly how close
they are. A spokesperson suggested that China might be partially responsible
for the strong ties between Russia and North Korea. They have an influential
voice in the region, and they should be concerned about steps that Russia has
taken to undermine stability. They should be concerned about steps that
North Korea has taken. NATO Chief Mark Rudder criticized the Moscow Pyongyang
alliance on Monday. Yet another breach off U. N. Security Council resolutions
and three a dangerous expansion off Russia's war. And this expansion is not
only affecting Russia and Ukraine. Tensions on the Korean peninsula keep
rising to North Korea is condemning the South for allegedly flying drones
across the border and over Pyongyang. The South on Monday, saying North Korea
started it over the past 10 years, North Korea has permeated our airspace more
than 12 times. If North Korean drones infiltrate our airspace, we will respond
accordingly. Not Korea on Monday said that the South used drones to draw
propaganda leaflets over Pyongyang earlier this month. South Korea dismissed
the claims, but tensions keep rising. Last week, South Korea reported that the
North issued firing orders to its troops at the Korean border. So far, no
solution to ease the pressure seems to be in sight. Ariane Pastor NTD News

Former President Trump has vowed to ban it if he becomes president and Moms
for Liberty released a new ad focused on protecting women's sports. Is this
issue going to motivate parents to vote in the November election? Joining us
now live in studio is Tiffany Justice, co founder of Moms for Liberty. Tiffany,
thank you so much for joining us. Great to see you in person. It's wonderful
to be here in person. Thanks. Now, with the election down to the wire here, a
lot of focus is on what issues will get voters out to the polls. Now, Moms for
Liberty, which you're with, just released a new ad on protecting women's
or girls sports, highlighting the transgender issue. Now, how motivating
of an issue do you see this in getting moms and also dads out to the polls?
Yeah, absolutely. And this ad was really focused on dads telling them that it's
important to show up for your girls on the sports team in their lives every
day. It's important to show up for them on Election Day, too. And we need dads
to vote to protect their daughter's dreams. And there are a lot of girls who
have dreams of going into athletics and being on athletic teams. And, um, it's
absolutely wonderful to see that dads are stepping up and protecting a girl's
right to play on a sports team. And I don't know. What are you hearing from
parents around the country on this topic? We're hearing from moms and
dads are really concerned about it. In fact, all of the polling that we've
seen shows this is not a partisan issue. I don't know where Democrat candidates
and elected officials are on this issue because there is a tidal wave of
evidence barreling down in the United States showing that gender affirming
care is not what's best for kids. Americans do not want boys playing on
their girls sports teams or in their girls bathrooms or locker rooms. And I
think what you're going to see is really a resounding amount of support
for any candidate on the ballot who's willing to stand up and protect women's
sports. And when it comes to solutions on this topic, we actually just saw the
New York Post reporting on a study that came out earlier this month, which was
presented at the U. N. It showed that female athletes have lost more than 900
medals to transgender competitors. This is across 29 different sports. Now, how
do you see Trump's presidency campaigning for women's sports? What
kind of changes will we see under his presidency? Well, first of all, it was
great to see the U. N. Get something right. They get a lot wrong lately, and
so it was wonderful to see the fact that they recognize we have a huge problem
here. A woman losing in women's athletics to one man is too many. What
do we see in a Trump presidency? Trump President Trump said to me when I was
interviewing him that he's gonna take a really hard stand on this. He thinks
it's absolutely ridiculous that there are men playing in women's sports, and
he's gonna do everything he can to put a stop to it. Unlike the Biden Harris
administration that issued new Title nine regulations that will use the
force of the federal government to require public schools to allow to girl
boys to play on girls sports teams. American parents are not having it. And
Tiffany, you have actually come out and fully endorsed Trump. You have
participated in many Trump campaign events. You actually just spoke last
night at Madison Square Garden here in New York. What made you decide to get
directly and say the political arena with Trump? Yeah, this was actually one
of the first campaign events I've done for President Trump to speak, and I was
so honored to be able to say the prayer, and it was a prayer about unity,
bringing Americans together, hoping for a bright future for our kids. Um, and
so, yes, I endorsed him personally. Moms for Liberty only endorses in school
board races. You know, local politics are incredibly important, so I really
urge everyone to go out, make sure you're voting for school board. But I'm
incredibly proud to support President Trump. He signed our parent pledge, and
he's made it very clear to me that he stands in defense of our fundamental
right to raise our Children. So I'll be there voting for him on Election Day,
and I just ask every American to vote as well. Well, Tiffany Justice, co
founder of Moms for Liberty. Thank you so much for being here. Thanks for
having me in studio.

McDonald's are getting some good news after a bad week for the company.
Locations that haven't seen been serving quarter pounders due to an E.
coli outbreak are putting them back on the menu. McDonald's says that's because
it has ruled out the burglar's beef patties as the source of the illnesses.
For now, the newly restored quarter pounders won't quite be the same. Here's
the story. Donald says it's putting the quarter pounder back on menus
nationwide. That's after an E. coli outbreak tied to the burgers prompted
their removal from locations in some states. The Colorado Department of
Agriculture says it tested beef patties from restaurants associated with the
outbreak and found no E. coli. McDonald says that result and other data lead
it to believe the patties were not what made people sick. The CDC says the
outbreak has caused at least one death, more than 20 hospitalizations and
dozens of other cases. And the more of the night went on, the worse and
severe the cramping got to the point that my kidneys were hurting really,
really bad. Investigators think another potential source of the outbreak could
be contaminated onions. McDonald says locations that got them from the Taylor
Farms facility in Colorado Springs will serve quarter pounders without that
topping for now. That's his federal regulators continue to investigate. It
will be over when the science says it's over when we can conclusively say this
is what happened.

Why do we have to hold a competition? Because Xinjiang people want to promote
traditional martial arts to revive the traditional culture of 5000 years of East China.
Traditional martial arts, the real traditional martial arts, are martial arts.
I believe that there is one point, that is, there are people who teach martial arts.

Every year, popular toys earn a spot in the hall of fame at the strong national
museum of play.
Anyone can nominate their favorite one online entities.
Andrew thomas has more on the potential honorees.
The strong national museum of play received 2,400 nominations for 382
different toys for 2024.
In just a few weeks, a select few will be inducted into the toy hall of fame in
upstate New York.
The National Toy Hall of Fame recognizes classic toys that deserve elevation to
the highest tier of the world of toys and game.
Toys must be widely recognized and respected across generations.
This year's 12 finalists include Hess toy trucks, the stick horse,
transformers, action figures and the trampoline.
The game apples to apples and pokemon cards are also in contention.
Even if you never had a radio flyer wagon or a teddy bear, you know exactly what
they were. And third, these are toys that have great play value, learning,
creativity, discovery, socialization, activity.
Toys can also be inducted if they've profoundly changed play or toy design.
Those are often toys and games that are really kind of open ended that allow a
lot of latitude, a lot of room for a child's imagination to take part.
So think of an Etch-A-Sketch or Crayola crayons or a doll house.
More than 600,000 people visit the strong National Museum of Play in Rochester,
New York every year.
Eighty four toys have earned the honor since the Hall of Fame opened in 1998.
The new Hall of Fame inductees will be announced next month.

Dave, plenty going on today, but let's turn to baseball.
As Game 3 of the World Series is tonight, what do the Yankees need to do to get
back into the series?
You know, the Yankees are down 2-0, but could be very easily, they could be very
easily up 2-0.
Both games been very close.
You know, Dodgers won that Game 1 with that incredible walk-off home run, grand
slam really in the bottom of the 10th.
In Game 2, the Yankees had a similar chance.
But instead, Anthony Volpe struck out, Jose Trevino flied out with the bases
loaded to end the game instead.
So they're right there in both games.
Now, as far as what they need to do, I mean, they need to somehow get Aaron
Judge back on track.
He's continued to struggle at the plate in the series.
Nine at bats, six strikeouts.
He has one hit.
It's just a single.
He's really struggled this whole postseason.
Fortunately for them, Giancarlo Stanton has been great in this postseason.
Maybe in front of the home crowd, Aaron Judge comes alive tonight and he
takes the case.
Game starts at 8 o'clock.
Walker Buehler starts for L.A.
Opposite Clark Schmidt for the New York Yankees.
Looking at tonight's game, what is the status of Shohei Otani, who injured his
shoulder in Game 2?
How would L.A.
adjust their lineup without him?
They just announced he is going to play.
But manager Dave Roberts had said that, you know, he had to pass a few hurdles
to be cleared to play.
Apparently that's happened.
But if he does re-injure his shoulder or something, I think first baseman
Freddie Freeman, he probably shifts the designated hitter.
Freeman has been limited by a right ankle sprain from last month.
Then they probably shift Max Muncy from third base to first.
And then you've got a number of defensive options with Tommy Edmond, Kike
Hernandez, or bring in either Miguel Rojas or Andy Paez off the bench.
So not as formidable without him, but still a good team.
But Otani is expected to start at DH, which is huge because he was the best
hitter in the National League this season by pretty much every single metric.
Well, shifting gears to college football with about a month left in the regular
season, if you had to predict the 12 team playoffs at this point, who would they be?
I'm glad you asked.
These 12 team playoffs, the 12 teams are going to be made of five highest-ranked
conference champions and seven at-large bids.
Let's start with the conference champions.
You could bet four of those are going to be a winner.
The Big 10, Big 12, ACC and SEC.
Now the fifth right now, it looks like it could be a one-loss Boise State team, even
though Army is undefeated, but Boise State's lone loss was at number one, Oregon,
and it was just by a field goal.
So there's one team.
Now I'm going to look at the rest by comments.
Miami, they've got the best record in the ACC.
I think the only way this conference gets more than one team is if someone upsets
Miami in the conference championship game, like Clemson, Pitt, SMU, because I don't
think those teams are getting in with a loss on the record, you know, and that
includes even Notre Dame.
Now for the Big 12, BYU and Iowa State are both undefeated and they don't play each
other the rest of the way out.
So those could be, that could be a conference championship matchup.
I don't see the loser making it in as well.
So ACC, unless Miami loses the conference championship, Big 12, I only see one
getting in there.
And then you've got Big 10.
You've got Indiana, Ohio State, Penn State, that's where it's going to get
interesting, also Oregon.
Ohio State though has one loss.
The other three are undefeated.
Indiana has been surprisingly good this year, but those three don't actually even
play each other.
You could have three undefeated teams coming into the conference championship
game.
That would be crazy.
The ACC is where it gets nuts.
Every team has at least one loss on their schedule, but it's the most powerful
conference out there.
I think the, I think the whoever wins that conference gets in and you probably
have four at-large that's then coming from the ACC.
Looking at tonight's Monday night football matchup, we have the New York
Giants playing at a Pittsburgh Steelers team.
That may have found their starting quarterback in Russell Wilson.
Yeah.
Wilson looked good last week against a once formidable Jets team and no longer
is it two and six, but it was only one game.
I mean, maybe he's back.
I mean, he's just two years removed from that 10 year run in Seattle where he
made eight Pro Bowls.
Those two seasons then with Denver were pretty forgettable for him.
But anyway, Pittsburgh five and two.
Meanwhile, Giants two and five.
They have plenty of questions at quarterback too.
Daniel Jones was pulled last week in favor of Drew Lockley in the game.
He is expected to start tonight.
They've struggled to score in wings, jumping 14 points a game.
That's the second lowest in the NFL Pittsburgh's defense.
Meanwhile, meanwhile, very good.
They only allow 14 points a game.
That's the second best in the NFL.
Anyway, the game starts tonight, 815 Eastern time, and it's on ABC and ESPN.
