Twelve countries have now paused funding for the United Nations’ agency for Palestinian refugees, or UNRWA. The European Union will also decide whether to cut off funding to UNWRA, after conducting an audit on the agency.

President Joe Biden vowed to retaliate, after a deadly attack on a U.S. base in Jordan.
