I'm a daily wearer of historical clothing (including historical-inspired) and stays/corsets and my focus is primarily the 1740s-1890s.
All the garments I make are 100% hand-stitched and take quite a while to construct! Therefore, you likely won't be seeing a massive flow of sewing progress or construction videos, for it usually takes me 2-3 months to complete an ensemble.
Instead, this channel focuses on a variety of my experiences with daily historical dress or historybounding, along with educational resources, interviews with experts in the industry, beginner's historical sewing guides, and so on.
I consider myself someone who wears historical clothing in a day-to-day manner and loves to sew it. For me, it isn't about creating costumes, it's about finding a way to incorporate historical fashion more practically as everyday items.
This is a safe space for all genders, sexualities, ethnicities, and any other marginalised groups.
Yours, etc.
