Education and information. 謝田(澤霖)履歷 引子: 史載,謝姓始祖申伯,炎帝五十三世孫姜太公(子牙)之後。子牙輔助滅商,傳六十三世至申伯、申甫兄弟。宣王念太公開國之功,封申伯於陳留謝邑(河南 安陽)。子孫以封地為姓,申伯姓謝,申甫仍姓姜,故而姜謝同源。清代,祖上自湖廣入川,定居川中,家族繁衍至今。澤霖父籍四川,母籍浙江,生於東北,承南國雨露之豐美,汲北國沃土之精髓。雖安家西方、入籍美利堅,憶祖思源,不敢忘本。 宇宙蒼茫,不知吾是誰?大穹上下,沉淪許多回; 三界之內,轉生多少次;輪迴之中,幾度辛酸淚; 得為人身,感負佛主恩;中土託生,幸運何以追; 五千文明,演繹造化計;神州歷練,艱辛備有為; 掌中乾坤,中天玉宇淨;正心修身,真善忍常隨; 筆耕真相,每遇有緣者;蕩滌除塵,只為盼至歸。 生平: 六十年代之初,生於黃海之濱,長於東北邊陲 七十年代初葉,得嚐農家苦樂,略知國難家累 八十年代發韌,求學古都燕園,茫中求脫左昧 八十年代中葉,負笈留學美國,科學救國難遂 八十年代末節,驚聞六四血案,民主救國心碎 九十年代初始,業界拼搏八年,家齊自疏修為 九十年代中葉,攜婦將雛求索,世事耕耘繁累 九十年代末劫,欣聞佛法正道,感念主佛慈悲 零零年代以降,勤修正法律己,教書育人不悔 ······ 後記: 君得披閱至此,自是緣分非常;篇篇以文會友,字字寓意深長; 掩卷扼腕靜思,揣摩筆者心願;明察生命真諦,不負本源厚望。 Dr. Frank Tian Xie is John M. Olin Palmetto Chair Professor in Business and Professor of Marketing at the University of South Carolina Aiken, and Nonresident Senior Fellow at the New York-based think tank Consilium Institute. He was Visiting Scholar at National Taiwan University. Prior to his appointment at USC Aiken, Dr. Xie was on the faculty of business at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Professor Xie obtained his Ph.D. in marketing and MBA in finance from the Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and B.S. in geoscience from Peking University. His research appears on journals such as China Brief, Journal of Business Market Management, Journal of Business Research, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing, Journal of Business and Economic Policy, etc. Prior to his career in academia, Dr. Xie had eight years of industry experience serving in scientific, supervisory, managerial, and consulting positions in companies such as Airtouch Cellular (Verizon), SunTrust Equitable Securities, and Innotrac Corp. His book on Chinese economy, The Dragon’s Vault, was published in Taiwan in 2013. His latest book (chapter), “US-China Technology Rivalry: Examination upon Decoupling and Hostility,” in Technology Rivalry Between the US and China, was published by Palgrave Macmillan Cham in 2025
