The events follow a series of scheduling changes after the Republican National Committee initially canceled the appearances in favor of additional telephone rallies. Both in-person events were reinstated Friday.
In Iowa, Trump will campaign in support of Republican U.S. Senate candidate Ashley Hinson, who is running for the seat being vacated by Sen. Joni Ernst.
The Dubuque rally will take place at the Five Flags Event Center, located at 405 Main St. Doors are scheduled to open at 11:30 a.m. Central time, with the program beginning at 1:30 p.m. and Trump expected to deliver remarks at 3 p.m.

According to KCRG’s reporting on the president’s visit, the appearance marks Trump’s first campaign stop in Dubuque since 2020. The president also visited Sioux City earlier in October.
Following the Iowa event, Trump will travel to Kansas to campaign for Republican Sen. Roger Marshall, who is seeking another term against Democratic challenger Adam Hamilton.
The Kansas rally will be held at Salina Regional Airport’s Hangar 509, located at 2734 Arnold Court.
According to the official Salina rally announcement, doors will open at 3:30 p.m. Central time, followed by the program at 5:30 p.m. Trump’s remarks are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.
The Kansas event was originally scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31, before being canceled and subsequently rescheduled for Sunday.
The president’s visits come amid heightened competition for Senate seats that Republicans are seeking to defend.
Iowa and Kansas have traditionally supported Republican candidates in recent federal elections, but Democrats are contesting both races as part of their effort to gain seats in Congress.
In Iowa, Hinson is seeking to succeed Ernst after serving in the U.S. House of Representatives. In Kansas, Marshall is campaigning for another Senate term while facing a Democratic challenge.
The two-state trip is part of Trump’s broader effort to support Republican candidates during the final days of the campaign.
His schedule has included appearances in several states, along with telephone rallies intended to reach voters in additional congressional and statewide contests.
The late changes to Sunday’s itinerary followed discussions within the Republican National Committee about how to allocate the president’s remaining campaign time.
According to The Washington Post’s account of the scheduling reversal, Republican officials had considered replacing the Iowa and Kansas appearances with additional tele-rallies before restoring both events to the calendar.
The president’s appearances are scheduled as voters prepare for the Nov. 3 midterm elections, when all 435 U.S. House seats and 35 Senate seats will be contested, along with numerous governorships and state legislative offices.
Right Side Broadcasting Network has announced plans to provide coverage of Sunday’s events, including interviews with attendees, appearances by campaign speakers and Trump’s remarks.
