🚨 Exclusive Scoop: The New Lineup of the CCP's Central Military Commission (CMC)
Apart from Xi Jinping and Zhang Shengmin, the following changes are expected:
✅ Yang Zhibin (杨志斌), Commander of the PLA Eastern Theater Command, will be promoted to Vice Chairman of the CMC, while Han Shengyan (韩胜延), Commander of the PLA Central Theater Command, will be passed over for the position.
In addition, the heads of the current “Four General Departments,” along with the Secretary of the CMC Discipline Inspection Commission, will become CMC members.
This means the new CMC will have eight members instead of the previous seven.
The new appointments may be announced in about two weeks.
This information comes from the same source who previously provided me with the list of candidates being vetted for the next Politburo Standing Committee.
I did some research and found that the current officials heading the departments corresponding to the “Four General Departments” mentioned by my source are:
🟠 CMC Joint Staff Department: Zhu Chuansheng (祝传生), Lieutenant General of the PLA Army (Deputy Chief of Staff, overseeing the department's operations in an acting capacity since January 2026).
🟠 CMC Political Work Department: Chen Demin (陈德民), Lieutenant General of the PLA Air Force (Deputy Director, overseeing the department's operations since December 2025).
🟠 CMC Logistic Support Department: Chen Chi (陈炽), Lieutenant General of the PLA Air Force (Director since September 2025).
🟠 CMC Equipment Development Department: Guan Jun (管军), Major General of the PLA Air Force (Official position: Deputy Director of the CMC Equipment Development Department. Actual role: overseeing the department's operations, effectively serving as Acting Director. Former Director Xu Xueqiang, a PLA Air Force General, has left his post / reportedly become implicated in an investigation).
🟠 Secretary of the CMC Discipline Inspection Commission: Zhang Shuguang (张曙光), General of the PLA Army.

I couldn't find photographs of Zhu Chuansheng or Chen Chi. If you have any, please share them in the comments.
