BOYLSTON — This coming weekend marks the final opportunity to take in “Glass in Flight” at New England Botanic Garden at Tower Hill, an exhibit featuring 30 gorgeous stained glass and steel sculptures crafted by talented artist Alex Heveri that runs through Nov. 1.

The larger-than-life colorful creations include hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies, beetles, and more. The figures are positioned so they catch the light and appear to be soaring overhead, posing midair, and hiding among the blooms and plants at the 11 French Dr. spot.
According to exhibit info, by blending brilliant color, light, and scale, “Glass in Flight” celebrates these charismatic creatures and their environmental significance and guests are invited to discover their hidden secrets like never before.
