Pet of the Week: Cowboy ready to settle down

Yippie! Cowboy (who is actually a girl) is ready for her new home.

Currently at Second Chance Animal Services, this gorgeous black and white domestic longhair mix cat is in good health. Her “tuxedo”-style coat pattern is beguiling and her “black mask” fits her face purr-fectly. Her emerald green eyes twinkle with curiosity and age 2 years, 10 months she’s a healthy youngster.

According to shelter volunteers she “can be a little shy and stand-offish when she first meets you. Cowboy needs some time to feel safe and comfortable, and she would do best in a quiet, calm home where she can relax and settle in at her own pace.”
