FITCHBURG — Disco Lemonade brought their infectious energy to the city for a recent all ages friendly show at a popular spot.

“Hollis Hills Farm is such a welcoming place to play, but many of us in the band have gone there with our families just to enjoy an afternoon or take in the best view of a sunset you can find in the farm circuit,” band vocalist Anthony Brodeur said following the Sept. 25 gig that attracted a large crowd.

He was joined on stage by fellow vocalists Jill Roberts and Joe Stephens, Jason Coffin on bass guitar, Rob Pagliuca on guitar, and Mike Gorgone, who usually does vocals but kept the beat going filling in on drums in place of Mat Amdur, one of the three drummers in the band that has 22 members total.

They kept people happy and shaking their groove thing with a set showcasing their signature mashup style, songs by artists including the Notorious B.I.G. and Guns ‘n’ Roses interlaced with a blend of disco, funk, and pop hits such as “Mr. Brightside” by The Killers and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” by Whitney Houston.

Brodeur said they all really enjoy performing and deeply appreciate fans coming out to see them play all over the place, including Boston, and supporting the band in general.

“We have an amazing following in the Fitchburg area and it’s always a treat when families come out with their kids to dance along,” he shared about playing at Hollis Hills again. “Most of us in the group have families, so we are so grateful to play a program where families can all come out and enjoy the music together.”

Upcoming Disco Lemonade performances include closing out the Bolton Town Common summer concert series on Friday, Oct. 16 from 6 to 8 p.m., where the town will be collecting Halloween candy donations, and their annual Halloween show on Saturday, Oct. 24 at Wachusett Brew Yard in Westminster from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
