PARIS — Rihanna has seemingly reacted to comments made by EJ Johnson about her arrival at Paris Fashion Week.
Johnson, the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills alum who uses they/them pronouns, took a swipe at the “Umbrella” singer while discussing the Christian Dior runway show held in Paris on Sept. 29.
“We just left the Dior show. Getting out of there was crazy, but the show itself was beautiful. It did start an hour late because Rihanna was late. We didn’t care to wait for her, but the show was beautiful nonetheless,” EJ, 34, said in an Instagram video.
A separate video later circulated showing EJ, the child of Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Cookie Johnson, being stopped from entering their hotel after posing for paparazzi outside.
Rihanna, 34, appeared to respond to the video with a single-word comment: “Damn.”
PEOPLE contacted representatives for Rihanna and EJ on Sunday, Oct. 4, but did not immediately receive a response.
Rihanna attended the Dior show wearing an all-black look consisting of a black spaghetti-strap dress, black jacket and black heels.
The mom of three wore her dark brown curls in an updo and completed the outfit with black sunglasses and layered silver jewelry.
The musician was photographed at a photocall and while seated during the runway presentation.
One day earlier, Rihanna attended the Matières Fécales Spring 2027 show.
Harper’s Bazaar reported that Rihanna arrived an hour late to that event, resulting in a delay to the runway show.
Ahead of Fashion Week, Rihanna was seen wearing a black and bronze pleated dress from the Ferragamo Autumn/Winter 2026 Collection while arriving at César restaurant after attending a Céline Dion concert in Paris on Sept. 23.
The outing came just days after she watched Dion perform on Sept. 16.
