DEAR PHYLIS: I am so sorry I have seen this happen to people in this industry and other jobs as well. And it’s sad when our family and friends get upset because of our gifts. When someone targets you with spiritual jealousy and harsh judgment, the heavy energy they project says everything about their internal struggles and nothing about your true light. Operating from a deep sense of lack and insecurity causes individuals to view your divine gifts and intuition as a direct threat to their own worth. Rather than doing the deep inner work required to cultivate their own unique spiritual abilities they choose to criticize in an attempt to diminish your shine. This toxic projection stems from their unhealed wounds because seeing your authentic light serves as an uncomfortable mirror reflecting their own self-doubt and spiritual stagnation.

While receiving this hostility can feel frustrating or draining it is essential to understand that the jealous person suffers far more from their own toxic mindset than you ever will. Harboring envy creates a severe energetic blockage within their own soul. The moment they allow resentment and comparison to consume their mind they completely sever their personal connection to higher frequencies and authentic divine guidance. Spiritual gifts flourish only in an environment of love, gratitude and humility. By constantly focusing on your journey and seeking to tear you down they trap themselves in lower vibrational energy bringing their own spiritual evolution to a complete halt.

Their judgment acts as a self-imposed cage that prevents them from experiencing true peace and spiritual expansion. Envy eats away at the heart chakra creating emotional bitterness, mental fatigue and a profound sense of isolation from the universe. They spend precious time and energy harboring spite toward your light rather than nurturing their own soul path. The cosmos operates on resonance and because they project scarcity and malice they continuously attract more stagnation, disappointment and spiritual emptiness into their daily lives.

You must remember that you are never responsible for carrying or fixing someone else’s insecurity. Their jealousy is simply proof that your light is shining brightly and fulfilling its higher purpose. The best response to spiritual judgment is to maintain strong energetic boundaries offer silent compassion from a safe distance and continue shining without hesitation. Never dim your gifts or shrink yourself to make an envious person feel more comfortable. When you remain grounded in love you stay fully aligned with your divine source while allowing their projections to slide right off your field.
