【新唐人北京時間2026年09月25日訊】9月24日，川習會進入關鍵一天，美國總統川普夫婦在白宮迎接了中共黨魁習近平夫婦。川普總統在晚宴上，出人意料地當場揭開了送中共黨魁的一件禮物：一座美國禿鷹雕像。
據美國白宮在X平台的第47屆總統快速反應帳號「快速反應47」（Rapid Response 47）的系列貼文，美國總統川普於9月24日早上在白宮發表的歡迎詞中，特別提到了二戰時期的美國飛虎隊前往中國，為中國的自由而戰。

隨後，川普帶著習近平在藍廳陽台上觀看無聲隊列檢閱，並在玫瑰園觀看閱兵式，及精采的白宮上空飛行表演。後來，川普還向習近平展示了海軍陸戰隊一號直升機和新的白宮直升機停機坪。

當晚的晚宴上，在翻譯完成了川普的一段歷史回顧之後，川普再次忍不住「插話」。他說：「如果我能脫稿一下，我想說……」這時台下掌聲響起，川普繼續笑著說：「我必須這樣做。」緊接著又加強了語氣再笑說：「我必須脫稿講幾句。」
原來他要說的是白宮的新宴會廳。

不過，最後也是最令習近平尷尬的或許是川普送給他的「白頭鷹」禮物。
川普對習說：「白頭鷹是美國的國家象徵，代表美國自由翱翔的精神，我們希望它能在北京找到一個美好的歸宿，這是您的榮幸。」
