FITCHBURG — The Second Annual Small Business Workshop will take place on Monday, Sept. 21, at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 3rd floor.
This year’s event will emphasize marketing, with three presenters on the topic of small business marketing: Tamar Russell Brown of Sitka Creations, Nicole Murphy of Attollo Creative, and Audrey Pendleton-Chow, Fitchburg’s downtown coordinator and also a local entrepreneur).
In addition, Sarah Tavitian of NewVue Communities will speak about small business technical assistance; and Sandie Cataldo of North Central MA Development Corp. will talk about how entrepreneurs can access capital and business loans.
“Similar to last year’s very successful and well-attended session, we will conclude with a 20-minute breakout exercise so the attending businesses meet and collaborate with one another,” said Economic Development Director MaryJo Bohart. “This workshop is for those considering starting a business in Fitchburg and those who have already started.”
There is no cost, and light refreshments will be served, but RSVP is required.
