In Japan, Den Fujita built an international trading business before introducing McDonald’s to the country. In the United States, W.D. Gann devoted much of his career to studying financial markets and developing his own technical analysis methods.
One became a prominent businessman who helped transform Japan’s restaurant industry. The other became known for examining the relationship between price and time in the stock and commodity markets. Although their careers had little else in common, both men spent years developing the knowledge and experience that later made their achievements possible.
