Senate Investigations Committee nears conclusion of latest case

ALBANY – The State Senate’s Committee on Investigations, headed by James Skoufis (D, Cornwall), is finalizing its latest case.

The senator said the report will be released in the weeks ahead.

“We’re wrapping it up right now and I hope to be producing a public report in the coming weeks on a deep dive we have taken on the astronomically escalating property insurance costs in New York State,” he said.

The senator said once this report has been completed and released, the committee will look at another issue.
